There has been some discussion about whether or not we should try to keep Jocelyn from exiling herself. This should be discussed within this thread.

My opinion is that we each use our negative vote on Jocelyn. This prevents her from her exile. I realize that she isn't 100% clear; but chances are she is a citizen. I would much rather have her replaced than us wasting an exile on her. She is the most useless person on our team, but I am not wasting an exile that can give us good information just because she is inactive. I really hope that Sam replaces her as it would make this all so much easy! *HINT TO SAM*

The idea above also allows us to vote normally, with the added exception that Jocelyn will not be exiled.
After voting it would really be appreciated if you could leave a post with your views!

If someone I believe to be a citizen is a potential candidate for exile, then I'm going to use my vote to save them. In addition, you don't need the entire team to use their negatives on Jocelyn. If she accrues, let's say, 8 or so self-votes? Nobody with 3 votes is going to be exiled on a Team of 15 people. Jocelyn should be replaced, yes, but in my eyes she is not clear, the argument for her being a citizen is not intelligent, and, more importantly, and let me just stress this loud and clear for everyone: What happens if we mislynch on someone else who is a suspect AND Jocelyn is modkilled, as a citizen. Double-loss for us. In other words, not worth it.I have not opposed the idea of lynching an inactive, and have not really taken a definitive stance on it as of yet. However, I am absolutely not wasting any vote on an inactive, be it positive or negative. Why? Cause she's not worth any of my votes. Period. Oh, I voted "No" by the way

Also, I said this earlier in the group chat, but do not think you were there:
Nobody will ever agree on what to do about inactives, except that they would prefer to have them be replaced.
Therefore, if you are someone that thinks she should be kept in the game, then you should use your negative vote on her.
I have heard that this is the most sensible option. Unifying together to save an inactive is just extremely foolish, in my eyes.

Yes, Jocelyn is not a definite confirmed citizen as of yet but there are so many factors in her favor.
1. Alma, a spy, voted for her. 2. Alma, a spy, along with another member, Jaya, voted for her and in addition to having the votes so close together, nearly got her out of the game. 3. She accrued a lot of self votes that nearly knocked her out and has been inactive.
From my perspective, if Jocelyn was a spy, then a fellow spy wouldn't throw their vote onto another inactive spy and risk the chances of them leaving because of inactivity votes. I just can't see this happening. Of course this is WIFOM but I personally do not see it.
So Yvette, you would rather run the risk of Jocelyn leaving this round than another person you suspected. Because I personally do think she can accrue enough self votes to get out of the game. Yes, if she gets mod-killed later on in the game and you guys end up exiling another citizen, then you have a double kill but you get rid of one suspect in general. You have two routes:
1. Lose inactive, lose citizen due to imprisonment, go back to the suspect you had when Jocelyn was eliminated vote them out, turns out to be citizen as well and then lose another citizen due to imprisonment.
2. Lose the person you suspect now, imprisonment, either jocelyn leaves this round due to more votes or you guys are able to get another suspect out, another imprisonment.
Now that I look back on it, it seems that we be losing Jocelyn in the third round nonetheless, so its just a matter of whether you guys want her gone this round or the third round due to accrued self-votes honestly. But take into consideration that we may have one big group instead of being separated into two teams, (since we went from 3 to 2 this round) and so the vote tally is higher, so less chance of Jocelyn self voting. And by the third round, Jocelyn may have been eventually replaced so rather than have her be removed this round, increase the chance she may be replaced for the third round. Just my opinion.
But if I was on this team, I would try to get everyone to use their negative votes on Jocelyn and use your + on a suspect that you think is a spy. But like Yvette says, the inactive debate will never be resolved really.
