I will repeat my reasons for going invisible:
1. I sometimes don't want to talk to some people and just glance who is online. If I see somebody I like, I talk to them. (READ: I actually like some people and don't like others because I am like that.) Also, I am moody on when and who I want to talk to. You will notice that I open to some of you emotionally which is on another level. When I don't want to talk about business (which I do a LOT), I become picky about my chats. 2. It is a quick way of "signing in and out" without slowing down my whole PC. I usually leave my PC 24/7. I keep AIM there on the dashboard. Loading AIM usually results in a freeze for me for a few moments. 3. I have to copy paste chats. If I exit AIM, all the chats will dissappear. If I don't go invisible, people will bug me and I don't want to talk because most likely I am signing off because I am tired or because I am rushing to do another important thing in real life. If I'm tired and I'm not invested and focused, I will probably call the next person something not so nice in the middle of the chat when they say something stupid.
Some of you will tell me that AIM automatically records chats and I know that. The thing is that to find the most recent chat I have to do the following: Open the log, Go all the way to the bottom, find where the last chat began, then select it. It is very prone to error and I sometimes end up selecting the whole thing which slows down my computer when I paste it. Staying online, I leave all the chats I had for the night open, and copy paste them as is to my confessional.
(I saw you watching that chat and you and me were still both in the room when I was invisible. I think this post is specifically directed at me. This is the same reason why I am not suspecting Donald because that he was invisible.)

And had I been not invisible while logging the stuff, I wouldn't have sneaked in a conversation with Gretchen. You come in so late in the night for me, girl!

I was saying: the first vote no one really knows what to do, so I would more likely to see what others are doing with the vote as I haven't had a chance to know everyone THAT well, and see what everyone is doing. It might be kind of scummy I guess, but is better than making a wrong move that I guess could potentially vote out a citizen is it not? WTF is this? You are justifying "voting with the crowd". Surely you have a brain of your own to formulate what is right and what is wrong. You don't have to just watch and see what everyone is voting for. Get in there and start asking questions. Second, why are you afraid of exiling a Citizen? If you think they are a spy, then you should vote for them. If you have the right reasons, then you have every right to hold the Exiled Citizen responsible for their own Exile. (Sidenote: But if you are voting somebody out of frustration, or because you dislike them for personal reasons, or for stupid reasons (again, some bias here I guess?) then you will be held accountable by the surviving Citizens. Be prepared.) Are you afraid of justifying your vote? Especially your vote against me? Especially when you (as a spy?) know that I am going to flip Citizen?

Have I mentioned how much I hate my ISP?
William, that's the 2nd time I've tried to talk to you and lost connection during the conversation. Bah.
I'm on now, and will probably be on before exile tomorrow if anyone wants to talk, assuming my internet connection remains stable...

Updated thoughts on some people.
Oswald - I think him sliiightly suspicious. As in, there has been maybe one flag raised. I understand his reasons against Mei - yet I would think he would have more against her at this point, rather than just the seemingly one thing. Otherwise he seems pretty citizen to me.
Gretchen
Roxy - I'd like her to be more vocal, though I'm getting a newbie citizen vibe from her. I don't agree with some things she says, and I questioned her directly about it, since they looked scummy. So I have a better understanding of what she was thinking in terms of them. She either is a super clever Spy, or a newbie feeling citizen. I think the Citizen more likely, because some things she has said are so obvious scummy, that they wouldn't come from a Spy - unless they were having a really off day?
Amelia - There haven't been any flags raised so far with her. I could definitely see her as a spy, mostly because she seems to think about things with all angles - even some unexpected or unlikely ones. I get a pretty citizen vibe from her.
Mei Yun - I'm trying to decide if something has gone horribly wrong with the ability to communicate between the two of us. At this point, I'm not getting super citizen vibes from her. I either think she is a Spy, or someone whom is having an identity crisis. As the tone in her posts changes sometimes. I'm not sure if the more articulate posts are due to her falling out of character - of if someone else is creating/posting them for her. I would like to think her intentions are good and that she is being very helpful as a Spy Hunter - yet I'm just not really seeing it. I think there are others whom are way more helpful than her. And no, none of my accusations against you have anything to do with the "spy-slip". She has a tendency to twist words and actions . Deflection, oh you are guilty of it. You deflect questions posed to you, with questions of your own. Accusations posed to you, you turn around and accuse your accuser.

Are you overly paranoid for some reason Mei Yun?
I was not watching the chat. I come back from being away, and see you'd answered my question - albeit a long time after I had asked it. I notice I'd missed William. Then I notice none of the team is on. Yet you, Roxy, and Oswald all show up as online in my open chat things.
If I had directed it at you specifically Mei, I would have done so like I did in the group chat when you confessed to going Invisible. Which this is the first time I am aware of you actually explaining your reasons to going invisible - save for giggling. Giggling is in no way an explanation to something.

Well what if you were voting out a citizen? If there are multiple suspicions its obviously better than one. No. You are using recycled reasons from Georgia for voting me out. Your reasons for voting me is "being too nice and friendly". Also multiple bastardized reasons is crap compared to your lack of scum hunting, or maybe Donald's fence sitting. Popular doesn't mean it is correct. This is the same thing that happened to American Idol today.

Sam can vouch for that after the game. But I still think you and the other people deserve an explanation from me at least because I know if it is not you, that Spies would hound me for not answering that because I will be using invisible the entire game.)

Going invisible is sketchy. It implies you are trying to hide something. So an explanation is good.

Gretchen - My only read on her, is onethird-spy/twothirds-citizen. I feel our chats are always so short, and her main focuses are primarily on rules of the game, and game aspects. As opposed to suspicions of others. Though I agree with her, that now we should be focusing on people in our own group, instead of everyone collectively.

Mei, go to sleep. Otherwise I will call the people with straight jackets myself.
I did not infer or imply in any way, that you had not already given an explanation. Nor that you needed to give one with that post. I was saying, that you giving an explanation to the sketchy behavior of going invisible, was a good thing.
In conversations with Roxy, both one-on-one and in group chats; she has never mentioned that I can remember anything in regards to her accusation against having to do with you spy-slip.
Perhaps, you need a lesson on Poise?

UPDATED PROFILING! Georgia: You're hilarious. I like you and I think you could be a Spy but I don't think you should be gotten rid of yet. There is also a very good chance you're not. Why? Well I think you're pushing people out of their comfort zones. Perhaps it's the Spies Noob in me. Perhaps it's not. But you have approached me when I am online. Though you were concerned at the start about idles / inactives / blah blah you took a proactive approach and came and found me. And this was AFTER I posted my suspicions of you. And you have not brought them up. So I am sticking with Cit for now. Oh, the above and you're the quickest at finding info on this site when needed. That's Cit points for me. Mei Yun: Had our first bonding session tonight. Considering I payed her out for her American Idol obsession I think it went really well. I asked her some straight questions and she answered in between you lot asking her why she is invisible sometimes. So what? You think she's lurking? You can't get into a chatroom when you're invisible. I live my life on invisible on MSN. It's in no way incriminating. Stop picking on her for that. Levi: Unsure of you. Think your memory is a little too vague - whether it's on purpose I have no idea. After reading through chat sessions I found it odd that you were invited to other team's chats by someone - even odder after you stated you don't remember why you were invited. You also like to try and rile up people - this I see as unnecessary at this point in the game. With so many people, the first Exile is going to be based on who can present the best "story". And someone who has read up on previous games should know that. Donald. Has made an effort to share his thoughts. Don't vote him. Yet. Boris. www.whathappenedtoboris.com.au/iamconfusedFor someone who was so insistent and dramatic about how my opinions mattered, I haven't heard or seen boo. Spy nearly confirmed. Roxy. Your comments are suss. Let me share a convo I had for my thoughts further - spies6gretchen (6:12:30 PM): 1) the voting together. in the game i play that's a clear maf / spy move. but it could be a slip up. but i think she has tried to defend it too much. if it was me, i would have said something along the lines of "meh, yeah i said it, it doesn't mean i am a spy, your choice guys". or something to that effect. spies6gretchen (6:13:36 PM): 2) she was all for eliminating me. now she "hopes i stay active". i am not sure that's very consistent. she also has made no effort to contact me at any stage to discuss my thoughts. also odd if she wants me to stay active. if she did, and she was a cit too, she would encourage me to be around and ask my opinions. ' Nuff said really. At this point you have my vote. Last and not least is Kirsten. I feel that Kirsten is reserved, strategic, observant and very intelligent. I think her intelligence and slightly abrupt nature is daunting and intimidating to a few, but I think she not be voted at the Exile. As I said in my first post - whichever team has her on their side is lucky to have her. My feeling is she's on the Cit side. Let's not lose one we will regret later.

@mei, I saw your search thread, and looked into it. I managed to make it work. It's a little weird, though. As an example, to search for posts by me in this thread (and all others in our team sub-forum), in the options, choose More Options: "Search posts made by:" "Donald", then uncheck 'check all', and check 'Team 426264's Workroom'. Search in > check both Subject and Message (probably doesn't matter), within past 7 days, arbitrarily large number of posts to get all of my posts, and select the posts radio button. As for my conversation with Kirsten, I am not finding it in any chat logs on any of my computers. I'm not sure why it didn't log, but Kirstem seemed to have an oddly aggressive behavior. I felt like she was pressing me early in the game to make me make a small innocent mistake that she could twist around and rile up a bandwagon against me on later. It really isn't much, but early in the game, it was the most suspicious thing anybody had done. In our group chat, when Levi was asking "who would you vote now?" Kirsten was my top suspect, as I still had little info. on most of the other players. I was really surprised when everybody started accusing me of OMGUS, because I had expressed some suspicion of Kirsten before that chat, and while she was the most suspicious player on my list, it was mostly feelings based on the little info I had at the time. Georgia, Can you explain your invisible comment?

Let me put something out there.
1. I am NOT invisible. My AIM logs me in sometimes, or someone else is using my computer and it automatically logs me in either way. I do not go invisible however.
Now, let me address somethings that have come up.
Gretchen: Hi! I'm Roxy! First of all, you have not been on AIM when I have been on, and even if you were you made no point in talking to me either way, so how are you going to say I don't make a point talking to you. Maybe you should just stop being inactive. AND. My vote wasn't all for you. It has been for Mei since the beginning. My vote would be for you if I chose to eliminate an inactive, which you can't deny that you aren't, but I AM NOT. I am VOTING FOR A SPY (MEI).
Mei: Clearly I am not afraid of justifing my vote against you, as I have told everyone who asked that I am voting for. I really don't care for any of your threats of people wanting me out or drama shit. I am voting for who I think is the most suspicious, that being you, and that's final.
Good day.

Ah the heated exchanges as Exile draws near. I have already logged my vote for Kirsten. As I've said before, she seemed fine until her responses to Levi first accusing her of sounding suspicious. I've told some of you that it seemed like backpedaling when none was necessary.
I still haven't gotten a chance to chat with her, which is sad because I'd like to give her a chance to explain herself (maybe here?)
In other news: I don't have Internet at home right now, so I'm checking in on my work computer. I can't install AIM on it, though, so I may very well not be on before the Exile.
Also, I will be traveling for the long weekend and will do my best to check in and such, but it's a vacation for me, so please bear with me. I'll make a post to that effect.

Guys, I'm not going to be able to chat much (if at all) before the Exile tonight. I'll post my final thoughts for this round here.
Kirsten - I NEVER remember you asking that question. If my post didn't make it obvious enough, your explanation was logical and I am satisfied with it, but I am still getting a scum vibe from you.
Roxy - Right now, my vote is for you. That conversation I had with you set off so many alarms it's not even funny. Right now, there's only one possible person who I might change my vote to. That person is . . .
Mei Yun - I really haven't seen enough evidence to overcome the strong cit vibe she is giving off. While she is no where near 100% clear in my mind, I really don't suspect her that much.
Gretchen - You are getting riling people up confused with voicing my suspicions. When I didn't voice my suspicions, I was accused of not making myself known and people told me that I needed to voice them. Once I voiced them, you accused me of riling people up. I really need a good one-on-one chat with you to get a better read on you, because that argument does not hold water.
Donald - I still find you suspicious, but I want to speak with you further to get a better read.

First to Gretchen: You and I aren't on at the same times sadly. So I'll ask you here, you said of Georgia : "Well I think you're pushing people out of their comfort zones. " and said it's a good thing. But you say of Levi "You also like to try and rile up people - this I see as unnecessary at this point in the game."
I think I don't understand the difference between riling and pushing, so I'd like a clarification.
To Amelia: Can I not sleep? I posted on page 3 at somewhere around 2am last night. I'm not a morning person, so I may only be able to post twice a day when I work. So here I am.
Mulling over final thoughts before exile...

I think I'm stepping of the "Vote Mei Yun" express for the time being. Too much of my reading of her has been with emotions in the way.
I have been not getting good reads on everyone, maybe I'm just slow. I'm going to vote for Donald because he's posted not much opinion of his own, maybe trying to avoid making enemies. Most of his posts have just been about the invisible thing which I don't really think is suspicious either way on anybody, I think we've all been in a mood where we don't want to talk to everyone.
So there, I'm off Mei for now and on Donald. Happy Exile day.
