Also with just 12 players remaining after tonight I would like to talk about the end of the game! Scary how quickly that came. The game could end at any point, when we get to a place where the next Exile could be the last I will announce it as a possible finale night. That means that right after each Exile it could be the season finale!
Should the game end at that point I will immediately call the season finale + reunion special. The reunion special is a 1-2 hour event where everyone joins to talk about the game, reveal bunches of secrets (including real life aliases), meet up, and enjoy things. But that is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of reunions!
Spies is unlike any other mafia game you played when it comes to the post-game, because I for one think that is the most entertaining part! When most mafia games end people just leave, maybe there’s a few posts in the thread, but pretty much it’s over. Not Spies! There is just an insane amount left to reveal, so many secrets to uncover, confessionals to read, perspectives to see. All of that is mixed in with tons of posting from everyone everywhere as we talk about the game. Not to mention the Spies every move from start to finish will be laid out as you learn the reasons for everything they did.
So I really hope you stick around for the post-game because it is tons of fun! Every 3-5 days I will release an ‘Episode’ which is everyone’s confessionals during that time plus some bonus stuff. By doing it this way we can talk about each point in the game as it happened, see everyone’s private thoughts, recap what happened, and learn all the behind the scenes info. There really is so much to see and reveal – tons of things go on in private – and to completely understand the game you need to see everything that took place. And I’m eager to show it to you.
