Unfortunately in a conversation with Robert in her team, Iris made a slip saying that she had almost deleted her account yesterday.
Ah.
By saying this, I am not trying to make her feel bad or anything, anyone could have made a slip up at any point, and so we might as well get it other and done with, save her, and let it be a lesson to all of us.
We need to help her come up with a reason as to why she had almost deleted her account yesterday before she was meant to have had access to it.
One option open to us is giving her a fake role. The group will soon learn that spy roles have already been given out then why cant we say that one special citizen role had already been given out too. Obviously that means it cannot be an ordinary role because it begs the question why only her getting it early so...we might have to super-power it up, but we may not have to say that at all if necessary.
Another option is to lie and come up with an excuse, something that springs instantly to mind is to have her say that she was talking to Sam and maybe sent out a wrong email stating her intentions to quit or not play. Then say she exaggerated that and made that as a claim to try and prove a point to us about her computer deficiency. Who knows.
However, this news could also go from bad to worse. The chat had two other people in it, myself and Jaya. Both of us immediately froze when she said that and no-one spoke in that room for a good 30 seconds. I then made a remark about coming back from the loo and so either I had sucessfully distracted Robert, or the more likely scenario is that me and possibly even Jaya are now also knee deep.
