So, things are looking up for Sir Jason and his motley band of mofo Spies. We've uncovered one role so far and it happens to be one that affects the game pretty strongly, so being able to twist it to meet our needs will be good.
My plan is to continue to lay low without seeming to lay low; I'm on, I'm active, I talk, I post, but outside of the group of trusted cits and private conversations in IMs I don't want to stand out at all.
It fits my character, it fits my game style, and it fits the ultimate path to VICTORY. Anyway, the next installment of Jason's ascent into Spydom is incoming!!

The Creation and Legacy of Jason: Learning to Spy By Not Spying Episode Two"So then she was like, 'well, I think your nose is ugly' and I was like 'Oh my GOD at least I'm not as flat chested as a five year old, I mean girl, seriously, you're like a 12 year old boy' so she started crying, and then she just turned around and ran off. I bet she's bitching to all of her friends about how mean I am, but she started it. Oh, hi Jason! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there!"Tiffany.... She was probably my favorite trainer, and not because of the actual training. She was pretty, sophisticated, smart, lovable, and more importantly really good at social connections; something vital to being a spy. "Ok, so like, everything that DJ said about being nice... Yeah, that might work, but let me tell you the real key. If you want to be a good spy you have to have connections, baby!"What kind of connections? Like a spy network? "No, silly, like connections... Gossip!! Get people to give you the scoop so that you don't have to suspiciously hunt it out yourself."So the key to being a good spy... Is to gossip? O.o "YES! OK, so, lets pretend one of your friends got this REALLY hot new boyfriend, but it turns out that he's actually another friend's recent ex, and they still have feelings for each other. So your first friend, lets call her... Courtney, doesn't want your second friend, eh, lets call her Ashley, to know about it. So anyways, what do you do? Do you gossip with people but hide it from Ashley or do you run and tell her right away?"Um..... "Well, come on? What would you do?"I guess I'd tell Ashley, I mean if she's my friend she deserves to know... "YES! Go you! OK, so now replace Courtney with Citizen with a Role, replace yourself with your connection, and replace Ashley with you! Because of your connections as a Spy you just found out a role holding Citizen! Yay lets dance!"
Wow... Is that really how it works? "Well... Basically. Listen, hun, the best information you can get is information that is volunteered to you. Some Citizens just want to tell people stuff and if you don't beg for it or ask for it they're going to tell you on their own."So I'll get more reliable information by letting citizens come to me and tell me things? "No, you're misunderstanding. So... How did you and Courtney become friends? "Well considering that was a hypothetical situation... -_- "Well, it is, but you gotta pretend! You had to become good enough friends for her to tell you the juicy stuff to begin with. What you have to do is find your own gossip to share with her first. If you gossip with others they'll gossip with you, and before long there are no more secrets in the Burg, other than the fact that you're a Spy, and if you gossip about that part... Wells, I won't say it but you know what I mean."So... To get good information as a spy I need to gossip with others so that they'll gossip with me, and then they'll tell me important facts about Citizens as the game progresses? "You've got it, brother."That's great, thanks. Would you... Like to go out some time? "Well, the thing is... We're not allowed to fraternize with our Spies in training, you understand, right?"I... Guess so. I should have expected that. "Hey Mister, turn that frown upside down. Smile for the camera!"

lol creepy picture. somewhere you said you were planning on not losing a spy in exile 3... and I must say I really hope so! lol you're doing stellar as a spy but your friends... er... leave a lot to be desired haha. I'm racking my brain trying to think of ways to get through to them that the idea is NOT to be labeled a Spy but I'm drawing a blank haha. I mean you've played every Spies game, you've seen how it works, and the level of suspicion on these spies is way beyond unprecedented. Do you think Master Mofo has anything he could teach them? I mean, ok alma/jaya I could see, but the rest of these people, these are people who claim to have played multiple mafia games, be excellent liars, very experienced, etc... what do we have to do to keep them from sinking like a rock. and most importantly what can pete do so he doesn't instantly squander all of his new-found fortune? ask master mofo those questions for me.

Lol I know... it seems like EVERYONE has gotten suspected but me so far, and everyone's in trouble... you're right, it's completely unparalleled... I think I said this in an IM to somebody but this is looking like the antithesis to Spies 3 where the Spies won and were in control the whole game... Here the citizens are totally in control and we're running for the hills -_-
Maybe I can create an alter ego (Because Master Mofo would sort of give my identity away lol) and ask all of my fellow spies Mofoish questions in the Spy forums every episode?? I'll get to work on that right away actually! Master Jojo? No... Master Paco? No... Master Jimbo? Hmm...
I'll think of something!

haha either way I think you should help em out, give them some advice, see what you can do so they don't keep making simple mistake after simple mistake. and encourage them to act if they just sit back and continue this path it's gonna lead them to the bottom of the oean.

So...... Donald might go tonight? That's a scary thought. Three exile rounds. Three spies gone. What does that mean for the spies? Let me explain in great articulate detail... Bad. So... what can be done? I don't know. Donald can't go. We're losing WAY too many people. I don't mind losing comrades along the way... But this soon?? No! I can't afford it! (P.S. as a side not to my fellow Spies I'm really enjoying working with you in all honestly, I'm just evil and am used to getting rid of Spies, that's all). At this point SIX people have been eliminated. THREE have been spies. Excuse me, but is our Spy organization the Webmaster of www.bad.com? I think it's a definite possibility. How is this happening? Let me tell you, in great articulate detail, of course: Luck. That's it. Luck. Alma - She went down for playing the way she wanted to play. I think Citizen or Spy she'd have been exiled first. Unfortunately it's partially her fault because she should have been more careful and it's partially my fault because I 'suspected' her from the very beginning, but ultimately the Citizens got lucky. (Luckily Jenya is the Protector so she can use her Protection ability to ensure that nobody in the Burg gets pregnant). Jaya - It was a last minute total bandwagon. How'd they manage that?!? I don't know. I don't want to know because there might be a razor nearby. (That's a little in character Confessionalizing for you all right there!) Paris - He wasn't even a true Spy... I was TOTALLY fine bussing him. But now it turns out we bussed an ally... He got caught for being 'linked' to Alma as a Spy partner, when, in reality, he wasn't... But hell, I helped build the case that he was linked to her, I agreed to it, and then I was confused when.... He WAS a Spy, after all. So what happens? MY MOFO, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME? We have to swing the vote. It's going to be close, but Pete and I are working on it. We've already got Tiberius and Ellis to decide to go Yvette. Honestly I don't care if people vote Yvette or Levi, or someone else... Just not Donald. Ultimately, though, Donald's going to have to defend himself. And I won't stick my neck out only to be the next in line. I took a calculated risk by posting the Yvette case when I did because it could totally be construed as a defense to the Donald case, which makes sense, since that's exactly what it is... Anyway, if Donald or Levi goes Yvette is going to castrate me, so I need to enjoy my last few hours as a man, just in case...

The Burg Sunday night. Jason Monday morning. The Burg after the Yvette exile, thanks to Jason. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I had no idea that would work THAT well. I was expecting to create some chaos, get people yelling at each other about Yvette, and maybe, JUST maybe actually exile her... Not only did people yell before the exile... after... was phenomenal! And of course Yvette is gone. The Spies FINALLY have the momentum again. We can harvest these misgivings like bountiful autumn corn yields. I'll say more about this later but for now I'm going to dance around singing songs of evil sinister spyingness. Edit: The first explosion pic was WAY too annoyingly big.

Episode Wrapup!!
Master Mofo - Hello there, denizens of the Burg, I'm you're Mofotastic host, the Master Mofo, and I'd like to welcome you to our Episodely (well, weekly and monthly are words... why can't episodely be a word, too!?) interview with Spying sensation Jason! Holy hell, that has a great ring to it and I didn't even think of it until now... Anyway... Welcome, Spy Sensation Jason!
Spy Sensation Jason - Thanks, I don't know if I deserve to be called that, but... I guess it's nice.
MM - You know, Jason, you don't have to be so negative all the time...
Jason - I know... I guess I can live with being called that then...
MM - Good! Anyway, something shocking happened this week...
Jason - Really? What shocked you?
MM - The Spies DIDN'T lose anyone! Is something wrong??
Jason - Very funny... -_-
MM - Did you just make a face out loud in an interview? Is that even possible?
Jason - I don't think it is... Pretend it never happened.
MM - Okay, good! Anyway, you managed to start an avalanche with your Yvette post; tell us how that came to be.
Jason - Well, Magnanimous Mofo of Magical Music and Mayhem, it started with the simple fact that we had top stop losing Spies! Over a period of a few days leading up to my post I'd talked with a rather surprisingly large number of people that had Yvette as one of their top subjects. It seemed like many people suspected her but nobody was willing to get the ball rolling.
MM - Well, your balls are certainly rolling; please, continue.
Jason - They are indeed. ....Wait, what!?! Err, anyway, I decided to be the one to, as you put it, start the avalanche, but deep down I knew that because of the way I specifically pointed out that I was meshing this case together from points made by several OTHER people who later claimed their part in the case, that I wouldn't get blamed for the mislynch itself, even though I ultimately made it happen.
MM - Very clever indeed. However I tend to remember you saying that you wanted to do this in order to get some suspicion planted on you so that people wouldn't be surprised when you weren't eventually Imprisoned.
Jason - Well, fortunately I don't need suspicion, I just need the illusion of suspicion. If anyone brings that up I can point back to this case and say, "Why would the Spies get rid of me? I got rid of one of the most vocal and powerful Citizens for them; they're probably just waiting to set up a case against me over it." and it should pass. Of course I plan on doing other things, too. This will last for a few episodes though.
MM - Yeah, you don't want to stick your head too far outside of the cave or you might get sunburned.
Jason - Sunburn I can handle; skin cancer I can't.
MM - Touche. Anyway, one potential downside to this past episode is the fact that Jenya's sad and will probably not be as aggressive for a few rounds. Do you think that will hurt you?
Jason - Well, it definitely could. Fortunately I don't think it will be a problem. Levi is a prime candidate for being mislynched in the near future. I mentioned to my colleagues that Kirsten probably isn't going to get off of his case until he or she is gone - whichever comes first.
MM - Does it really matter which comes first?
Jason - Actually it does. Levi needs to go first so that Kirsten can follow him out the door... It'll be easier to swing that than vice versa.
MM - Jenya mentioned that you only need 7 more failed Exiles for the Spies to win the game... if you get those two out in the next two rounds you'll only need to trade off between a Citizen for a Spy each every other round to win. That seems pretty manageable.
Jason - Under ordinary circumstances, yes... Under our circumstances... Not so much.
MM - And why is that?
Jason - Well, basically... Amelia, Donald, and Iris are all in BIG danger. Sure, we might get Levi and even Kirsten before Donald or Amelia but that will be tough to make happen, and sure we might get Faith before Iris, too, but where does that leave us? At the moment we need a string of Citizen exiles to get ahead and it looks like the trade off period might happen over the next six Episodes instead.
MM - Which means you'd be left with yourself and Pete and need to get 4 Citizen exiles.
Jason - Correct.
MM - Speaking of you and Pete, you two had an interesting conversation about your teammates... Care to talk about that?
Jason - Sure. Yeah, like I mentioned, Donald, Amelia, and Iris are three of the six leading candidates for upcoming Exiles right now. Basically... they've done a bad job so far. And it's not like it's been out of their control. Amelia has been a bandwagoner from day one and made some obvious blunders in one of the challenges. She's also made some weak points against people - pretty much all of her actions seem like Spyish actions. Iris got involved with the Yvette thing... She could have said no - getting involved with a plan like that so early on is VERY risky. Yeah, it let us know that Yvette and Robert were faking, but that was pretty obvious anyway just by reading Robert's case on Yvette and comparing to his cases on other people. Donald wasn't careful with his suspicions lining up and making sense - he didn't follow my Connections Rule for hunting Spies and got called on it. He could've spun out of that with little harm but he didn't handle it in a way that would enable spinning out of it unharmed. These three Spies have their days numbered. They simply WON'T survive the next six or seven rounds - none of them. Pete and I are both in good positions - partly due to the fact that we both successfully helped lynches on fellow Spies - but ultimately we did what we needed to do to survive and I think we can both survive a good long while.
MM - So why were you and Pete so intent on saving Donald if he's probably going to die soon anyway?
Jason - Because Yvette, a citizen, is gone. If she hadn't gone she and Ariel would have found a way to save her. Donald would die and Levi would probably die the next exile. Now, instead, Yvette dies and Levi still might die next round. We bought Donald at least one week - maybe two or three, and got rid of a powerful Citizen. There's NOTHING wrong with that. It was worth it.
MM - Well, overall it sounds like you had a successful week and have some good plans laid out for the upcoming weeks. I look forward to chatting with you next week, it should be an interesting Episode!
Jason - Indeed, until next time... Master Mofo. Until next time!

Or the following episode, a few days in...
I felt pretty awesome making the swap from Levi to Donald and going from cit exile to spy exile.
And then I had to defend myself against that move (swapping to exile a spy over a cit) for the entire rest of the game...talk about annoying...
------------------
Nice job swinging the Yvette exile. I still can't believe that happened. I feel like Gabriela and myself had very strong evidence against the Yvette case, but meh. You and Jenya just had far too much sway with everyone and managed to push freaking 13 votes to her...I'm still in shock of that.
That was a swinging point for the game back into your favor.
Then Donald + Iris swung it back in our favor. I thought there was no way we'd lose after we caught Iris. Silly me.

That swap from Exiling a Cit to exiling a Spy was VERY SUSPICIOUS though!
I honestly can't believe that the Yvette exile happened, either, OR that I never once got blamed for it...

Oh, I blamed you, as Kirsten and my chat logs from episode four/five (can't remember which now) can confirm. Next episode I went back over Yvette and Paris and thought you were trying to shift the blame off yourself BEFORE they actually happened. I also thought that the spies would give the most trusted spy among them as many votes as possible (between cits they could influence and their own two votes) to make sure that person got the investigation. You fitted on both counts. Unfortunately I never got to do anything about this, but my suspicions of you started fairly mildly next episode and reached near-certainty during Rey's exile - at which point Mei Yun convinced me Jenya was a spy instead and they crashed.

I LOLed at Sam asking Trey to have Master Mofo answer his questions.
And oh my god, it's TIFFANY! HEY GIRL!
SO TRUE. I love how you were able to twist this to your advantage - not only get info on roles, but use your role to make you look more Citizen.

Tiffany says Hi! Actually I haven't talked to the real life Tiffany in a while, I need to call her up :"(
And yeah, I didn't just make the Spy Legacy things for show, I truly took the advice of all my Citizen selves ; D It was kind of weird hearing all of those voices telling me what to do... I think Tiffany was my biggest help; I got lots of info following her advice!
