This game has only been going on for a day and I'm already feeling the stress. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to everyone but here's my basic thoughts so far. I pretty much said what I believed in our first Exile discussion. I'm lumping Faith/Iris together as friendly people with no substance yet. I feel pretty good about both Yvette/Robert despite their initial suspicions about me. Just talked to Khaled and he may have been playing dumb about the spies not always knowing their alignment....or he could just be dumb. I guess if I had to vote right now it would be Ariel. She's a smart player, deep character, not willing to divulge any specific info.
Of course, I don't know how I feel myself about divulging info this early in the game. 1: None of us has any idea what we're talking about 2: None of us has any idea who we can trust
I hope to get a better feel for my team over the next few days so I don't have to settle on Ariel with no solid basis.
Outside of my team, I'm most suspicious of Rey. He was playing up the excitement for alignment reveal so hard he could have been trying to cover his true alignment. We'll see.

Awesome, I've already established myself as Robert's #1 spy in our group and apparently Ariel thinks something is up with me as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Ariel (spy) saw Robert's misgivings about me and pounced at the chance for an easy exile. Unfortunately, Ariel is not only basically immune from Exile this round but I have yet to hear anyone voice any suspicions about her. Doing so this round probably won't get me anywhere, I will next round if I'm still alive

Good news: Robert may still suspect but he also has Callahan on his radar now. No one really seems to be buying into Robert's and Ariel's suspicions of me so I seem to be off the hook for now.
Bad news: Everything else! The game is getting out of control with multiple team members taking serious heat. Yvette publicly accuses Robert, Robert publicly accuses Yvette, they both publicly accuse Callahan. Good times.
That's all I really have for now other than I have really no read on the other teams. While discussing Yvette's accusation of Robert in the group chat, Rey (my #1 nonteam spy) seemed to agree with her analysis while Jason, Ariel, Khaled and Jaya all seemed a little more hesitant to suspect Robert. Not much to go on now since I haven't talked to Jason or Jaya at all, just something to keep in mind.
After the chat, I had a convo with Rey that raised my suspicions once again. While discussing my minor suspicion of him, he quickly turned the tables on me and started accusing me of Spy behavior. He also said he believes strongly that both Robert and Yvette are Citizens, despite his earlier endorsement of Yvette's accusations toward Robert.

First off, I had a short convo with Jenya where she sort of stuck up for Khaled (no spy would be stupid enough to say they'll vote randomly) and Callahan (thoughtful). Anyway, on to the good stuff. This is my current spy list starting with the least suspicious. Iris - Easily get the biggest Citizen vibe with her. She made solid points about Callahan and was very open about sharing her information. Of course, if Cal turns out to be a Cit I may have to re-evaluate her. Thor - Don't know much about him as he just arrived, but he has dumb, useless Citizen written all over him. Mirlela - Our Inactive MVP!! She really only showed up to yell at Callahan and has been MIA since. It may be in our best interest to get rid of her, but hopefully she'll become truly inactive and either be replaced or self-voted off. Faith - She apparently really is a high-schooler and goes to bed by 9 every night. I only talked to her once, pre opening chat so I really have nothing on her. Everyone else seems to like her though. Robert - Maybe a little eager to try to pin me down for my comment and his case against Yvette was incredibly weak. However, I still think he is a citizen and his tendency to mistrust people may work in the Citizens favor in the future. Yvette- In pretty much the same category as Robert. A strong, aggressive player who is hopefully just misguided at this point. If she continually randomly and publicly accuses people with little evidence, then she could quickly move to top Spy spot. Ariel - No one else seems to suspect her at all so I haven't really been able to get her into the Spy mix yet. It concerned me how she publicly posted our convo expecting to get a certain response, but once no one really agreed with her she backed off completely. She also has been avoiding me on AIM so I need to step up my investigation of her after this exile. Callahan - I wanted to like this creepy priest but he's making it extremely difficult. He didn't come off well at all in the Yvette/Robert debates and has done nothing to solidify his standing. It seems like he's scrambling a bit now searching to popularize a vote for anyone but him. Also defended Khaled, aka Spy #1, a bit in the group chat. I fear being accused of bandwagoning, but I still might vote for Callahan. Khaled - Oh Khaled, are you even trying? Khaled has given off a fishy feeling since I first talked to him. He has contributed little to the team and offers up zero opinions whatsoever. Maybe he's just being uber-cautious but he has to make a move soon. Of course, his random.org comment has put him in even more hot water. There ARE 2 reasons I might consider not voting for Khaled. #1. If he truly is a spy, no need to get on the spies radar if Callahan is going anyway #2. His lack of information and stupid comments would make him terrible spy, so terrible that he may just be an ignorant Citizen. Final thought, I'm really regretting that I chose Ed as my character's name. It makes it extremely difficult to search for my name in group chat logs. Damn you past tense!!!

So I switched up my vote and I'm going with Callahan. Is it better to go with my gut and waste a vote on Khaled or risk being accused of bandwagoning? Only time will tell.
However, I'm feeling a little better about Khaled has he has finally revealed a detailed list of suspicions. There's a lot of statistical mumbojumbo and he's fairly non-committal but at least it's a start.

Thank you for all of the amazing thoughts. I love reading them and they keep me updated with the game. I try and read some conversations but there aren't enough hours in the day to read them all, and your summaries help tons, I appreciate it. Are you still suspicious of Rey? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else but I think I remember you beign suspicious of someone who most people weren't haha. Maybe you could tell me a little about that. lol. I dunno I kind of like the basic name Ed. Short and sweet. Also when you have to type up all 32 people's names when preparing the board AIM leaderboard everything else, and you slosh through Almathea Jocelyn Tiberius and Callahan, it's kinda nice to zoom by Ed haha.

Rey - at the beginning I was slightly suspicious of Rey for how much he played up his excitement for alignments to be issued out...when the spies knew all along. Not a strong case, but just wanted to make a note of it. He is now one of the most widely trusted players and I think he's probably a Cit too.
Ed - I like the name too, it just makes it impossible to use ctrl +f to find comments I've made and comments about me in chats.

Ha, I never thought about the name thing making it hard to search for comments. I wonder if Faith had that kind of problem too. Something to keep in mind.
I haven't seen you around much post-game but I'd love to hear your thoughts on what it was like to play again after so long of a break.

Yeah, I will definitely be choosing a long and probably foreign name next time. Look out for Spies7Amadinejad. I've been in DC (!) visiting my girlfriend so I've been busy with sight-seeing, screwing, etc. This has been my first chance to check out the post-game action. I had a great time in Spies3 until that nasty double exile caught me offguard. That was my first mafia game of any sort and Spies6 is only my second. My inexperience has probably shown through a little, most glaringly with the handling of my Imprisonment. Despite that, I had a fantastic experience again and hopefully there won't be a 2 game gap between my next return as a player/viewer.

I thought you played pretty well. You had good insight into most topics, and the reason I suspected you was mostly because of your interactions to other players (Read: Levi) that I found bothersome.

It was definitely annoying when searching through convos for Faith snippets.... "Have faith in this" "lost faith in that" grrr! But Faith was still awesome
