OK so each previous Spies game I've had something witty / funny / pathetically failing to be funny or witty to say about all the other contestants. Not this time, because my strategy is to only meet or talk to the people I need to meet or talk to.
That said, there are a few things that need to be said. First of all, Yvette = funny / psychotic.
Second of all, Robert = not so funny / psychotic.
Third, Kirsten = AWESOME! That case she made against Levi is not only pretty convincing (and having spoken to him, he's pretty "up there" on my suspect list) but also hilarious. Her "translation" of what he's saying into what he means is superb. Unfortunately I've not had the chance to speak to her yet, which is a real shame.
Levi could very well be a spy.
Rey trusts Gabriele. Not quite sure how I feel about that. She seems to have been onto Alma fairly early on which should put her in the "cit" camp, but if she's as smart as she seems to be she'll have left herself openings there.
Paris is obviously a spy. He's flailing blindly now, trying to poke any holes in the case against him, which is rather tough to do given that it's obvious to everyone and their sister what must have happened. I rather suspect the people who are in the least bit doubtful are either spies or pretending to be so that they can avoid the dreaded imprisonment.
Boris is great.
Khaled is permanently online and never actually here.
Faith is in all likelihood a citizen.
Jenya should be good at sniffing out a spy. (Well, she has all the physical advantages necessary for the task.) I'm a bit worried that she might actually be one though. I don't think she or Gabriele are spies, but I'm not half as convinced as Rey seems to be.
Thor and Yvette have paired up. Jenya suspects Thor, and while I wouldn't admit to it, I agree. Spies like to be "third wheels" and latch themselves onto stronger personalities like Yvette and Robert. Of course, one spy (Bev) tried to subvert that fact and play the dominating bitch in a previous Spies game and had me totally fooled, so I'm not going to make the same mistake that I did then and say that Yvette's in the clear. A point about Yvette - she wasn't in favour of Alma's exile.
Another point about Yvette - if she really is a spy, I don't think she can win. The previous "bitchy" spy proved that while that strategy can (and clearly did) fool people like me who expect Spies to behave in a certain way, it won't fool a lot of other people who come in with less preconceived ideas. And in this game we've got a helluva lot more newbies, so I think preconceived ideas go flying out of the window.
There's a lot of people I really haven't met and who've barely been commented on yet, like Oswald and Donald and Amelia and others. I'd like to have more information about them, but it's difficult when your strategy prevents you from actively going out and seeking it out. Right now, though, we have a lynch target - Paris.
