OK, so my plan at the start was to remain invisible, not put a target on my back by interfering with the framings of any under-the-radar but unfairly-shafted citizens like Abrams (or, indeed, Jaya) and play for longevity. I guess becoming one of seven people to become the first group EVER to vote a spy out in episode one of a Spies game didn't exactly factor into my equasions there. I think I should be a huge target for imprisonment right now. I'm such a big target, I'm going to start writing my "final words" here. If I don't have to post 'em, I'll save 'em for later on in the game. Whatever happens, I'm proud of what we accomplished in the first episode and what I anticipate my friends and fellow citizens will accomplish in the second episode. Here we go.

Oh, bugger, it's "The Apprentice"-style imprisonment. And I'm a HUGE "Apprentice" fan. And I said so to you right before the game started.
This ain't looking good...

In the words of Kathy Griffin in "Celebrity Mole Hawaii", "I consider this my own personal exemption".
I can see why Robert was imprisoned, and if anything it seems to suggest that my strategy of being the invisible harmless man is working better than I thought it might be. I'm sorry for Robert, I didn't get a chance to speak to him but he was really into this game.
Y'know, this is my idea... I hope Robert was a really experienced player who's had loads of Spies time in previous games. I hope he's not a newbie. Because that way he's had the Spies experience and won't take being imprisoned too badly. Like Brody did for example.
(You see, this is how good Spies 6 is - I'm actually worried about an eliminated player because of what they're missing out on!)

thanks for your thoughts during the imprisonment but the whole "premature final words" thing is so bleh. =P it's so arrogant, assuming, annoyingly dramatic, and played out haha. not a fan.

Erm... wow??!!! Where the hell did THAT come from? Arrogant how? I genuinely thought I was gone. I thought there was maybe a 20% chance that Jason might be gone, otherwise it was me. The only reason I would think the spies would even consider imprisoning someone outside of our little group is that they either had a role or the spies were so paranoid about a "doc" power that they decided to go for someone completely unexpected. Otherwise they'd split us up. Rey would be the natural choice to protect, Jason would be #2 since he'd been one of the first ones on Alma's case and everyone who's read the burg posts knows it. Jenya's pretty influential but she's still a suspect in most people's minds, including my own. That really leaves the "bandwagonners" of Tiberius, Pete, Gabriele and myself, and who's the one Yvette and Rey both declared as a certain citizen...? OK so normally when I do something stupid (like: every minute of every day) I usually have a clue where people are coming from, but this one I just don't get. Sorry, I guess?!

"I guess becoming one of seven people to become the first group EVER to vote a spy out in episode one of a Spies game didn't exactly factor into my equasions there." Uh, ok... I guess... "Whatever happens, I'm proud of what we accomplished in the first episode and what I anticipate my friends and fellow citizens will accomplish in the second episode." Not to mention the fact that I (truthfully) credit Alma's exile to them and not myself. Aside from trying to make sure Jaya wouldn't get scapegoated, I don't think I had a thing to do with that exile. As I've repeatedly said, here and in chats with other people, I didn't even notice Alma as a suspect until Rey had made his case. You know what? If this thread is so bad (and for the life of me I can't see why) can you just delete it? Obviously it's come off really, really wrong, and I don't for the life of me understand why.

i was referring to the title, not the content which is why i said "thanks for the thoughts" but "not a fan of the premature final words thing".
I have seen several people in several games create "premature final words" before they are eliminated and it usually fits those categories I listed. =)

Some situations may call for 'premature final words' but this situation so absurd-ed-ly didn't it required my two or three sentences of carefully concealed disdain. =P And yet that still sent you into a tizzy. -_- (this is all in good fun don't take it seriously! ) Take this into consideration: - There's 30 people in the game. 7 spies = 23 citizens = 1 in 23 chance for you to be picked at the FIRST Imprisonment - The character you played is deliberately not a super-citizen, hides in the background, doesn't push much - You don't have a role or declared you had a role - You aren't a big character that everyone trusts - You voted for ONE Spy along with plenty of other people AND YET you still think that out of 23 people you are just so near-100% INSANELY CERTAIN that you will be Imprisoned? For normal people that would be a sign of unbelievable arrogance, perceived superiority, self-centeredness and borderline megalomania, but for David that's just a part of who he is so I guess I shouldn't be surprised haha. (again, not being accusatory just pointing out how ridiculous it all is and everyone has big egos that's why I y'all)

I hope the rubber ducky cat toy makes a guest star appearance in another story.
And I always think I'm going to be imprisoned in every episode when i'm a citizen too - paranoia really gets to you in this game.

It's okay Yves, eventually the whole premature thing goes away and you'll be able to hold it longer.
Wait wtf are we talking about?!

(again, not being accusatory just pointing out how ridiculous it all is and everyone has big egos that's why I y'all) Sam... from the benefit of someone who's played this game five times now as a citizen, let me tell you... In Spies 4, knowing that there's always previously been a first "fake" imprisonment and also that I was a huge exile candidate by the first imprisonment, I was STILL shitting myself before imprisonment 1. Logic would say that I was the absolute last person the spies would choose (assuming the first imprisonment was even real, which it wasn't) but I was still very very very afraid at that point. You can't "not" be paranoid about imprisonment. Now take that, and think how much worse it would be if you've just taken part in a spy exile and everyone publicly thinks you're a citizen!
