Sweet, I survived exile 1. Next up, surviving exile 2. At this point, though, I think that I'm mostly in the clear in terms of major suspicions leveled my way. Spy caught, which is completely awesome. And it came from Rey's team, which looked a lot like "Team has no clue what they are doing" when I would look into their workroom. I guess it just all came together for them. Rey looks strongly citizen from that interaction. Paris voted Jaya. Jaya voted Jocelyn. Jaya actually strikes me as pretty citizen, though. Paris looks suspect, and I'm actually a little suspicious of our favorite island, Ellis, but it's all just hearsay for me at this point. It's time I laid down the law, and chatted it up with some of those punk ass bitches from that team to determine who looks like a spy and who looks like a citizen from the Almathea interactions. I think our team had the highest concentration of spies. Levi, Boris for instance strike me as spies. Levi for reasons I have so elegantly laid out prior to you, my sweet confessional. Boris because he basically disappeared and then voted Roxy, the top vote getter, for reasons that seemed weak as balls. ROXY (4): Gretchen, Mei Yun, Levi, Boris MEI YUN (3): Donald, Roxy, Georgia Keep that in mind. If Mei Yun is a spy, then those 4 Roxy votes are suspicious as hell. And hey, guess what! None of the people I really think are citizens were on that wagon. Ah, shucks. And hey, Boris, Levi were on that wagon! Oh my! The possibilities! Oh God, so many possibilities! I'm contemplating building a Levi case and dropping that bomb upon the ripe Hiroshima that is team "still freaking alive" or whatever they are. I will say this much, it sucks so much that my team is comprised almost exclusively of people that I have a neutral->citizen read on, whereas the bulk of my suspicion rests upon the shoulders of the other team. I would love to be in there, riling those bastards up with my righteous vengeance. Instead, I get to chat it up with Ariel, and Yvette, Rey, and others who are highly likely to be citizens. Yay for the scumhunting potential. I'm guessing by exile 3, we will have merged. I can only hope that is so.

I need to watch myself. I used the term "ballsy" with Rey, and I've used it in the past. Seriously, if I want people to think I'm a sexy chick playing spies and will reveal all to me in the hopes of getting into my pants they need to actually think I'm a chick. That won't happen if I'm using the term "ballsy." Hehehe *covers hand with mouth*.

Laying down some thoughts on Levi here, just to solidify them, for when/if I make my case to his team.
I feel that Levi is looking for cases that he can push and players he can drudge up suspicion against more than he is looking for who is actually a citizen or a spy. He pressures people in chat, waits for them to slip up at all, and then nails them and adds them to his ever growing but never receding list of possible people to vote for.
This was real to me in the fact that he attacked me, I defended myself, but he never once even acknowledged that I had defended myself or made any indication of how that affected his opinion of me. To me, that is ultra-scummy. I don't mind if he sees my defense, and acknowledges it but still finds me scummy. I don't even mind if he finds me more scummy for my defense, but I am totally bothered when he continues to put me on his list of people who he is willing to vote for and brushes aside any new information from his original points of suspicion.
At the end of the day, he had like 4 people he had expressed suspicion of over the course of the day, and was equally willing to lynch any of those 4. Really? Can you be any more spyish? Can you say "I'm waiting to see where public opinion swings before I make the final decision on who is the lovely recipient of my spy-vote." I can say it. I just did.
Finally, there is his wagon greediness. This is directly reflected in the chat where Levi and I discuss his suspicions of me. In that chat I express suspicion of Donald, and Lo and behold, Levi also is suspicious of Donald and agrees with me that he would be a good exile choice? What? Your top suspect just threw down a lynch choice, and you agree and jump aboard? Not even skeptical at all since I'm the one you suspect most? Seems...odd if you ask me.

Talked at length with Gabrielle. It was an odd conversation to say the least. She's a returning player, but I don't care enough to try to determine who at this point. She was suspicious of me, but then started to think I was a citizen, and then now trusts me.
I have no idea whether I should be suspicious of that or not. At this point, I'm really not, and she was suspicious of Almathea early on enough to where she's probably a citizen as a result. If nothing else, I'm guessing there was only 1 other spy maximum on that team based on how easy Almathea folded up to get lynched. Basic probability says she's a citizen.

Sometime this weekend I need to go through the burg and compile all the conversations I see.
And begin my quest to unravel the connections of Spies6. And maybe I'll find the Holy Grail along the way.

Levi: Just recently spoke to him. Has clear feelings about other team members, and claims to be fairly new to the aim component. Want to see more, but am currently satisfied.
That was a quote from Boris. I call bullshit on the bolded. Levi is a returning player, of that I am nearly 100% certain from some discussions, where I noted something about spies 5 and he mentioned something aobut spies 1-4 being different. I'd have to dredge it up, but he's lying here.
I don't actually think that's suspect, in that I'm also lying about my spies experience, but I feel like I should note it here anyway. Something to mull over if nothing else.

lol how did you sober up so quickly between those last two posts. your confessionals are the bomb. thank you so much for posting them, every time I see a new one here I get all giddy and rush over to check out the latest. I'm glad you managed to keep yourself afloat from the first episode it looked a little touchy there. I'll try and respond more to these so you know I'm reading but no guarantees. We haven't talked about the game on AIM though recently I'd like to do that too that's always fun! thanks for all of your thoughts. I'd kinda like to hear what you think of the new voting twist... What do you think about the +/- voting system? How will you personally use your minus vote? What do you think about the voting system twist of Spies 6? Do you think it will affect the game? What kind of different voting systems do you think might be used?

lol how did you sober up so quickly between those last two posts. I wasn't fully sober yet, but I was cognizant enough, and proofread too much to overcompensate. I did not do anything stupid in the burg, and did not talk to people on AIM. That is a major plus. What do you think about the +/- voting system? How will you personally use your minus vote? I've played in a mafia game before where this was used. I like the concept a lot actually. I'm quite interested to see how/if it affects the exile. In the game I played, -votes didn't play a strong role at all. Here is a lot different, though, with private votes all revealed at the end, so I think it will be more prevalent. I plan to use it on someone I think is a citizen who is going to get votes. I think people who will -vote someone like Ariel who isn't going to get voted anyway are simply wasting it. I'm cocky enough to want the extra power associated with it, and will use it accordingly. With that being said, I have no clue about this exile. I had a very fun weekend, but fell behind a bit in spies as a result. All of my spy suspects are on the opposite team (Paris?, Levi, Boris?). The majority of my citizen reads are on my team. What do you think about the voting system twist of Spies 6? Do you think it will affect the game? Most definitely. I don't know whether or not +/- voting will affect the game much. I think there is a decent chance that the same people get exiled anyway, regardless of the +/-. If there is ever a voting system where votes are private, that will DEFINITELY affect the game. Private voting is to the spies benefit, although I think it can be utilized as a citizen weapon as well. How? I don't know at the moment. What kind of different voting systems do you think might be used? I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of council-type process like spies5. Private votes wouldn't shock me. I wouldn't even be surprised by some sort of "everyone votes 1 player, that player singlehandedly chooses the exile" type twist, either, where you are voting a trusted citizen with good ideas rather than for a spy suspect.

Right now I'm thinking about +voting, Donald? William? Bah.
Probably going to -vote Georgia, although that isn't set in stone either.

Reading through the team chat right now. Notes:
spies6Yvette (11:12:49 PM): I know that nobody will really like to hear this, but after literally going through all of my Round 1 confessionals and conversations, I still really don't have much of a read on Ed. Before I started to suspect Robert, I was open to his opinions about Ed, but then I thought it was a spy counter-attack against Ed. Now that Robert is citizen, I cannot be so sure at all. It certainly seems to implicate more suspicion to Ed than before. With that said, I never get much out of him in terms of anything when I chat with him. He is very there, but not informative. Potential spy behavior.
Considering her Robert suspicion was a lie, this line would also be a lie. I was thinking Yvette maybe wrote up these descriptions ahead of time and then laid them out, but the timestamps seem to fit her actually typing them up. Still something to consider.
spies6rey (11:23:57 PM): i think a spy could have been within the midst.
Rey's first response to the plan being laid out. I expected more of a "wow, really" type response. This seems more calculated. Was rey already privy to the information and had thought about it ahead of time? Food for thought.
Wow, Gretchen says tell, then repeatedly denies it to the point of calling everyone a liar. Over reaction much? Something to watch out for. The paranoia there could be tell-tale.

Sam, I think my -vote might actually matter this time.
Cheers for me coming in the last day, barely talking to anyone on AIM, and laying down a solid -votes on a top suspect.
That's how I roll, bitches.

I did get in good conversations with Yvette/Ariel/Donald, though. I'm hoping Donald throws down the -vote on Georgia that I wish I could have done in addition to my negative drop on Ed.
I kind of made a last minute decision to vote for Gretchen. Previously my choice was William, but I can't shake the overwhelming feeling that he is a citizen, and I refuse to vote against my gut, which is usually correct in citizen reads. I think there is a decent chance she is a spy. Better odds in my opinion than the rest of our team.
And now, I pass out and may or may not be on for the exile. Just so you are informed, Sam:
spies6Kirsten (8:27:30 AM): I have work, and then I'm celebrating my roommate's birthday. I might get off work early (and have time to check the burg a single time a few hours pre-exile) but then i will still miss it from celebrating the birthday.
I won't make exile (sorry), and there's a 50/50 shot I get to check the game again pre-exile. May my vote remain strong in my absense.

Yeah, screw you new players for actually researching previous spies games. Throws me off. Levi knew more about earlier spies games than I did, and I had even played in the series before.
