I am always trying to make the game better so last season I asked people to fill out a survey with their thoughts. Lots of people responded which helped me out so much. I incorporated more than a few of their suggestions into the game which I believe improved this game immensely. I would like to do it again so I’m asking you to fill out a new survey if you like to! Thank you in advance if you choose to participate. =)
Please give me your honest opinion, I want to hear what you think. If you don’t have an answer to a question you can skip it. I won’t respond to your thoughts unless you ask.
Please PM's your responses to Judge Sam any time. It is rather long, so I understand if you need time. Maybe send it in in sections, as I want to hear all your thoughts you shouldn't rush through it. Send it to me anytime, even if you forget about it and it's weeks/months from now.

INTRO
How did you feel about the 1-3 day break periods during the game? (not including the long break around the consensus decision making that was a special case.) Were they necessary? Were they too long or too short? Would you like to have more or less of them?
The Team system received praise, because dealing with 31 other players right off the bat is itself overwhelming. However, the drawback of it is that it leads people to divide the game up into groups and assume that there are “2 or 3 spies” in each group. As you saw, that is a painful assumption that can affect the game, despite me warning players not to include it in their suspicions. How much do you think the three team groupings affected who yourself or others thought of a Spies? How much did it affect the game? Do you think this negative impact was worth having the teams at all?
Is there a way you think I could divide up the group without it having a lasting impact on the rest of the game? Maybe change how I divide them, let a player divide them, make teams live in chat to ‘prove’ the randomness, etc? How would you divide teams to this effect?
BONUSES
Do you feel there were too many extra activities, challenges, and twists, too little of them, or just right?
Did you feel the rewards and powers (not roles) given in this game were too powerful or not powerful enough? Would you have preferred it pushed either more powerful or less powerful?
Many times, if I am unfortunate enough not to have you play in another spies game, I like to involve past players in small events such as Future Week. Even if I don't do that, I still like to hear from you on the board. My question is, 6, 12, or 18 months from now, if I don't hear from you, can I send you an IM or e-mail asking you to take part in a game or a special event?
ADVERTISING ~ first time players mostly
If this was your first game, what enticed you to come to the site in the first place? Was there anything in particular about the advertisement that you recall stuck out to you or should be emphasized? Anything I can do to make it more enticing? spies6.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pub94095&action=display&thread=80
How long did it take for you to decide you wanted to play Spies?
What was it about Spies that made you want to apply?
Was there anything about Spies that made you hesitant to apply?
Did having to fill out an application deter you at any point from applying? (obviously not totally haha, but what did you think about that?)
Did you look at past boards of other Spies games? If so, do you remember what you looked at or what you thought of it? (clearly it's impossible to even go through 10% of it in one sitting)
Often players will need to wait 2-4 weeks from the time they apply to the time the game starts. Did you ever think of pulling out during this time? Was it too long to wait?
NEGATIVITY
Do you feel the atmosphere of the inside mafia game (as talking with the other players) was overly negative, critical, abusive, or insulting far and beyond normal arguments, disagreements, or accusations? Was this a temporary feeling or did it permeate a large portion of the game?
If there was significant negativity amongst players, do you think there anything the host should do about that?
