...Because he's MOVING HOUSE!!! Yep, I'm making my way down to Swansea, home of the second best cardroom in the UK and my brand new job. (Which is just the same as my old one actually, but I get paid a damn sight more for doing it.) What this means is that I probably won't be around much next week. But don't worry, I'll try and get online whenever I can. In my quiet moments I'll be reflecting on you guys with misty-eyed nostalgia. G'night! EDIT: If the Forum Mafia is still going then and I'm still alive, I'll let Donald know what my day-by-day situation is. Sorry to the other players, I knew this was coming but I didn't expect I'd have to move as soon as this.

Do we get to crash the housewarming party?
Will you put a mezuzah on your door?
What would Yves be like if he lived with roommates?
Move swiftly and safely, sir Yves.
P.S. What is a cardroom?

David says thank you very much! A cardroom... a room where you play cards! I'm a poker fanatic. For a lengthy but pointed discussion of the similarities between poker strategy and mafia strategy, I would urge you to check out my long but pointed quote in this post here.

I'M BACK!!!
Sorry for being totally absent for the past few days. Obviously you know the reasons for it!
You know one of the most horrible feelings in the world? Putting your key through the door of what's been your home for the last four years and knowing that you'll never be able to go back there again on your own terms. It's like losing a little piece of your soul. When you're planning a move you're looking forward with anticipation and a little fear, but at that single moment, it's as though there's something you're missing and you'll never quite remember what it is. Ugh.
Anyway, that's over and I'm now fully set up at my new address. I'll be back on Steam, EpicMafia, the MafiaGame boards and everywhere else I know you guys from ASAP. Glad to be back!

Well it now appears that last bit should've been in massive sarcasm quotes. So I'm writing this from work during the last twenty minutes or so of my evening shift. Once I've done that, I'm going back home to my lovely new place where I have no landline, TV, or Internet. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already. Yep, the cable account that I was using before was out of date, and has now been deactivated. The bad news: I can only access the Internet from work until I can get a cable engineer out to set my broadband back up. The really bad news: I'm getting cable installed on SEPTEMBER 25TH. The really really really really bad news: because it's a cable account and my old e-mail addresses weren't set up on an equivalent one, they can't port them over the the new account. So I've got about three months to get my entire e-mail address book ported over to a new, non-ISP-specific e-mail address (because there's no way in hell I'm going through this again!) So the twenty or so Spies or ex-Spies players who have one of my e-mail addresses may be getting a mail from me soon advising them to change their contact details. As will the other several hundred people I've e-mailed once or twice over the past ten years or so... As you can tell, this is going to be a "fun" swapover. (Massive sarcasm quotes intended.) Since I don't have very long left, I'd just like to say two things before I sign off Spies for the last time this Autumn. Firstly, well done Levi for finally working it all out at the end. Great job on getting major suspicion on Jason and especially Pete, although I'd like to make it clear that I still think you're a spy, and no faked confessionals or confirmations from Sam will convince me otherwise. Secondly, I'd like to point out that if the cits had won this one, thanks to the rule-change that specifies that "all" citizens win the game as a team, I'd "officially" have won myself and would no longer be statistically the worst player in Spies history (five games played, zero games won). Grrrrr!
