that's untrue. rey legitimately believed callahan was a citizen based on a read he formed himself. Are you referring to Boris's comment here, or my point?

Point number one isn't valid, but if I break it down too much Ariel won't have a case. I will admit point 1 is one of the weaker points of the case; it's mostly based on the exile chat where you wanted Almathea saved. Defend yourself against points 2 and 3, please.

1. He started the Almathea exile, but tried to back off it at the last second. So why start it in the first place if he's a spy? 2. He defended Jaya by bringing up things Almathea said about her. Were the things he said legitimate or not? Citizens can defend spies, as I'm sure you are aware of. Or was your defense of Iris spy-to-spy? (Going on a limb to assume Spyris) 3. He defended Jaya less obviously by trying to get Pete exiled (with a crap case). It seemed pretty obvious to me that his intention was to not get Jaya exiled. That seems to fit with him defending Jaya based on things Almathea said. Can you explain to me why as a spy he would act like that? 4. He said nothing about Callahan until it was clear he would be exiled and not saved, after which he became vocal in his support of Callahan. Wasn't this proven false? I thought it had been pointed out that he mentioned Callahan earlier than the chat segment you pulled out. Ariel, you are going to have to do more to convince me you actually believe the case against Rey. The entirety of your case is based on his actions episode 1 and 2. What about since then?

you can't decisively say that i mentioned my doubts to nobody in my group when you wouldn't actually know. i mentioned them yvette, who disagreed. she was the only member of my group aside from callahan online at the time.

___________________________________________Vote CountIris (10): Ariel, Kirsten, Levi, Rey, Boris, Khaled, William, Mirela, Georgia, Pete Kirsten (1): Jenya Amelia (1): Roxy
Not Voting: Tiberius, Iris, Oswald, Thor, Jason, Amelia, Gretchen
With 19 alive, it takes 10 to lynch.____________________________________________You hear noises coming from within the workroom. Everyone knows that you shouldn't horseplay in the factory. It's probably just Rey again, you assume.
The individual bursts through the workroom doors anxiously holding a gun. "I've found out another spy in our midst, and that spy is Iris!" exclaims Kirsten.
You are a bit surprised that Kirsten is acting so different, but you shrug it off since you've seen weirder people during your stay in the Burg. Take Roxy for example. Or if you are Roxy, take yourself for example.
"I agree, Kirsten. Wouldn't it be logical for us to use a rope to lynch Iris rather than a gun? Does anyone have a rope handy?" Ariel says while looking around."A rope? Oh yeah, we need a rope!" says Kirsten as she starts searching."Iris? I give up, let's lynch Iris." states Levi, even though it doesn't seem like he was giving up anything to begin with."I found a rope!" Rey yells excitedly."Just in case you didn't notice the first time, I want Iris lynched. I'm confirming my decision for no particular reason." Levi says cautiously.
The group moves into Iris' room. For some reason she has been sleeping for the past three days. You wonder why she gets to sleep here for so long. When you even close your eyes for two minutes, McNeal threatens to get you fired.
Khaled sees the group of people standing around Iris, grabs the rope from Rey's hands, and puts it around Iris' neck. "I'm drunk, but I think that this is the best time for me to decide that I want Iris dead." explains Khaled. As hard as Khaled tries, his hands keep missing the rope. Khaled suddenly passes out, falling to the ground.
Tiberius and Pete both grab the rope at the same time. Both of them wanted to kill Iris really bad. "I get to kill her!" yells Pete. "No, I do!" Tiberius retorts.
In the end, Pete won by poking Tiberius in the eye. Pete pulled the rope around Iris' neck.
You check the purse under her bed and look for ID ...
You find ...
Iris, Union-Buster, has been lynched. [These scenes are 100% flavor and do not give any insight into the game.]

Well, I could mention that he started out defending Iris as well, but that would be hypocrisy as I did the same thing, so I won't. Rey has been a waffle all game long; less so than "I-need-a-bandwagon" Jaya, but waffling is how we caught Jaya in the first place. I will admit that Rey's more recent play in the burg has less that I can specifically point out as "This and this are suspicious actions", but he becomes very defensive at the first sign someone might suspect him, and very confrontational and insulting.

Rey is a known Waffler.
Why is it just occurring to people now?
As I said then, and I still stay Thor. I found it odd that you would come to me, someone whom you'd never spoken to before, and outside of your group - just to voice your doubts on lynching Callahan. I think if you had doubts, you should've voiced them loudly to any and all possible in your group. Yvette disagreed, so you stopped there?

Georgia, perhaps Thor didn't get a chance to talk to anyone else in our group about his doubts? Thor, when did you start having doubts about lynching Callahan? The day of Exile? The day before?

And Kirsten, both your points about Rey's motives in defending Jaya are WIFOM as we can't know whether Rey is a Citizen or a Spy. No, but isn't the point of the game to try to figure that out by analyzing his actions? WIFOM is a myth.
