IMPRISONMENT #7 Welcome to Imprisonment #7. As you may have noticed, a new leaderboard was revealed which has shrunk in size considerably. 14 of the 32 of you have been eliminated and just 18 remain. Tonight that number will fall to 17.
As we continue through the middle of the game, the group will get smaller and smaller. Individual connections will mean more and your vote will carry more weight. Already your vote will weigh twice as heavily as it did at the start, and that will only continue to grow.
As the Citizens continue to be Imprisoned and more and more go at Exile, will you be around when the leaderboard shrinks once again? Or will all the Spies have been captured by then?Previously, on Imprisonment #3 – Out of this World, Thor, Tiberius, and Boris went to go see the Albuquerque Isotopes play a minor league baseball game. They started talking about the fourth spatial dimension and all of its wild properties. Just as the game was about to begin, a loud thwack reverberated throughout the stadium, and they all found themselves as points on a one-dimensional line… VULNERABLE:

Thor, Boris, Roxy, Georgia, Tiberius, and Rey inexplicably found themselves as super-tiny lines, living in a 1-dimensional world.
A 1-dimensional world looks like this to an outsider:
<------------------------------------------------->
It is simply a line that goes left and right and nowhere else.
But for Georgia, who was now living on this 1-dimensional world, there was a totally different perspective. As a dot facing forward her entire field of vision was seeing things in one way – looking completely straight forward as if her eyes were locked in place in her skull. And at the moment, that one-way-forward vision was completely engulfed and blocked by another large black point known as Rey.
“Rey, move out of the way!” Georgia said as she moved forward trying to get past him. “MOVE!”
Georgia tried to take a sidestep to get around him, but she quickly found this was impossible, as there was no side to step to. She then tried to look around her new world, but also found this was impossible as there was only other one way to look: backwards. That was it – click like the slides on a slide show, either you look forwards, or you look backwards. Two different slides only.
Suddenly she ‘turned’ her head and a whole new reality – the reality that was behind her – appeared. Rey’s big black point was now nowhere to be seen. She continued along this new path until she ran into a big black point known as Boris. Likewise, she was unable to pass him.
“Oh fabulous. I’m stuck between Boris and Rey and there is literally no one else I can talk to.” she thought. “And the worst thing is, even in this 1-dimensional world, I’m still forced to look at Rey’s big fat ass.”

“So Boris,” she said gamely. “What the hell is this?”
Boris was giddy at his new surroundings, and about-faced to face Georgia. “This is so exciting!” He said. “We’re tiny points in 1-dimensional space. Just livin’ on a line like we’re at -1999!”
“And that means…”
“Well think of it this way,” Boris began. “Remember that baseball pitch the pitcher threw to home plate? Pretend he threw the ball in an exactly straight line. We’re now living entirely on just that line. The mound, the bleachers, and everywhere else is completely invisible to us, because we can’t even imagine those directions right now. Even though it’s all still there, just out of reach, it is completely outside our world.”
“That sucks. I wanted to see the game.” Georgia said.
It quickly became apparent that living in the first dimension was not nearly as exciting as Boris thought. There were only two ways to move – forward and backward. And only two people to talk to.
But soon the excitement was about to ramp up (or ramp left, I should say) as suddenly, with another baseball-bat-sound-thwack, five of them were transported into the second dimension.

“So now we’re in two dimensions, huh.” Thor said as he surveyed his surroundings. He was now living on the flat plane of the ground of the baseball field. His world had gained an extra dimension – width in addition to length – and he could now move left and right as well as forward and backwards.
Thor himself had changed shape as well. Just as people living in a 3-dimensional world are 3-dimensional shapes, people living in a 2-dimensional world are 2-dimensional shapes. Thor himself was now a square. Roxy had turned into a circle, Rey was a triangle, Boris was a hexagon, and Georgia now looked like Pac-Man. Tiberius was nowhere to be found.
From an outsider’s point of view, the five looked just like shapes drawn on a flat piece of paper. Their whole world was just that piece of paper – they could move left/right and up/down, but nowhere else. The stadium around them had turned from a normal stadium into a simple oval that was now the boundary of their world.
But while it is helpful to imagine what these five looked like from up above, the perspective from their point of view down in 2-dimensions was a whole other story. VULNERABLE:

“Holy shit watch where you are going!” Thor yelled as Rey was walking toward him. Rey, who was a triangle, was walking at Thor pointy part first. His killer angle, a sharp wedge pointed straight at Thor, could easily pierce the poor square in twain. That sharp angle would push into the side of the square and slice him in two. In a 2-dimensional world, having sharp angles was a liability.
“Sorry dude, still getting used to this whole flatland thing.”
Perhaps try and think about what it would be like to live on a piece of paper. Just like when in 3-d space you are unable to see someone’s back when you are talking to them, in 2-d space you can’t see the back of them either. When square Thor looks at Rey in 2-d land it might look something like this:
Thor █ ........... < Rey ~ triangle
Thor █ ........... ( Roxy ~ circle
Basically everyone looks like line-shapes that change shape when they rotate or move. For a visual demonstration, you could watch this full-length movie about life in 2-dimensions.

Meanwhile, Georgia walked by a beautiful 2-D fountain (imagine what that looks like!) and spotted something strange out of the corner of her eye. It was Tiberius. But he was still stuck in the 1st dimension!
Yep, there was Tiberius, his tiny point-self, living on his impossibly thin line. He looked quite funny, pacing back and forth endlessly. Georgia waddled over to it to say hi. But then she remembered Tiberius couldn’t see or hear her, just like she couldn’t see or hear the rest of the crowd in the baseball stadium when she was in the first dimension.
How could Georgia communicate with Tiberius who was trapped in his one-dimensional world? Slowly, she put her ‘finger’ into the 1-dimensional line. To Tiberius the finger showed up as a simple point. When Georgia pulled back her finger, the point disappeared.
Tiberius stopped and stared at the disappearing point. No other point had done that in his world before. He didn’t have an explanation for it. There was no way he could deduce the entire existence of 2-dimensional life, with all its oddities and foibles. To Tiberius, imagining the entire world of 2-dimensions simply from the appearance and disappearance of one point was unfathomable.
Georgia decided to have a little fun. When Tiberius moved backwards she popped her finger into the world right in front of him, stopping him in his path, causing Tiberius to bump into it and figuratively fall flat on his face. Giggling, when he turned around to move the other way she popped another point right in front of him.

Little did Georgia know that as she was toying with Tiberius, a three dimensional figure was toying with them.
With ease, an un-see-able three dimensional spy agent calmly walked over to her. She yanked this person right out from the plane and flicked their flat self away like a worthless piece of trash.
Jenya has been fired and Imprisoned by the Spies.
You will never see her again. [/b][/center] Jenya : please post Final Words in your confessional immediately. Judge Sam: “Oh nooooo. My beloved Zhawn-yah. ;_; I don’t know if life in the Burg will ever be the same. This is truly a vicious blow to us all. If there was anything that could surpass your daily dish of funny and intelligent conversations it would be your biting wit. If there was anything that could surpass that it would be maybe the confessionals you wrote, or your tireless pursuit of the Spies, or how you took everything in good cheer and fun. You are such a unique person and a very unique player and having you play was a blast. Thank you for bringing such a positive energy to the game almost each and every day for the 30+ days you were in it. I really appreciated your humor, kindness, activity, and everything else that you brought to the game. I could go on and on about everything I appreciated but after three pages it’d start to look a little creepy! I hope you had an excellent time playing the game. I know I say this for everybody, but for them I don’t really mean it! (jk! ) But I think everyone will truly miss having you in the game.” Judge Sam: “Ah, it seems we have truly passed a turning point in the game. 17 remain… and after the next Exile, we will finally have cut the Burg in half. But the Spies have been more than cut in half so far… and at the next Exile we have an opportunity to have cut them in half twice over. The Citizens have had a pretty good track record so far. Can they be stopped? We will find out at Exile #7 which will take place live at 11:59 PM CDT Wednesday night! Yes that’s really late but it’s the best time for all of us… I hope to see you there, should be interesting. Also we will have a LIVE challenge on Tuesday at 9:00 PM CDT I hope you all can come! The prize will be very important as an investigation (and Immunities!) will be up for grabs. I will see you there.” The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them. -E. Episode #7 was Sam Lies Week, a collection of events revolving around the fact that that week I would tell the players three lies. One of the lies was that I lied to the players about who was Imprisoned. Jenya was fake Imprisoned by the Spies while William was the one actually selected by the Spies. He would learn of his fate after the lies were revealed following Exile #7. At that point Jenya returned to the game.
