Even though this is written after the events have happened, this is my way of just showing what I did in the game and how I helped Khaled's downfall.
So then, this round I have been on limited computer access and so I only truely played the game on the last night. It mean me getting bombarded with facts and scenarios that everyone else has had days to formulate. It also meant that I didnt have to come up with much original thoughts and I could get away with critisising others.
I started the night off with talking to Jason and getting his take on the events and who were worried about my 'second conversation' from last round. Turns out people were much more interested in removing Khaled and his watcher role. Nice. So, I logged on and braced myself, only to be asked no less then three thousand times if I had a role. Obviously the answer is NO and I told the truth. Great. That apprently implicated Khaled more. It was at this point I ofund out about the 'YES' evidence.
Now obviously me being a spy and hearing that people have had said they dont have a role means only one thing. There has to be another role out there people arent claiming. However, when I put my citizen hat on, the only conclusion I can draw is that of inconsistencies, and I decide Khaled will be my vote.
Then, I send both Kirsten and Jenya down a few long roads of nothingness, talking about points that are mearly conjecture. The good thing is though, they both take the bait and start thinking a lot more about these 'long shots' by the time they come to a conclusion they are dead ends, they would have already sealed their vote for Khaled. Which is exactly what happened.
Thing is though, I am now confident Khaled will get the boot and I was a strong player behind it. However, ten minutes before the end, Jenya throws a massive spanner in the works (yet again, thank you very much grrrrr) and I now have a few minutes to decide if keeping my vote on Khaled will make me look more suspicious then changing it to Gretchen. I know perfectly well if I do that Gretchen will look at me weird and claim me as a suspect, which, I was absolutely right about (man that girl is easy to predict) but I dont really care.
I decide to change my vote, and, of all people to throw a hissy fit, it is Boris, which I wasnt expecting. He somehow thinks that me doubting the evidence on someone and changing my vote on them to give them another round (Um....Boris....you voted for William in Exile 5, pot/kettle/black ?)
I personally believe the actions I did were very citizen like. I doubted evidence on someone, changed my vote to give them more of a chance, voted for someone who is very suspicious AND didnt vote for a now confirmed citizen. However, a lot of these citizens are now wondering about me and I cant help thinking of 'oh the hypocracy of the Iris change at exile 5' and 'oh the hypocracy of the Thor exile'. These citizens have proven themselves very stupid again by allowing to believe whenever they do something weird like that they can call themselves cleared, but whenever someone else does it, for much stronger and valid reasons....they are to be doubted and no longer trusted.
This round may have looked very good for the spies, but, it was in actual fact a VERY bad one. Jason got a lot of unneeded attention and a lot of people wondering about him. I got a lot of very stupid players with very short memories questioning me on a move which was good for them. Sigh. You know I keep saying how whenever the game goes good for the citizens that it is due to luck? I'm sorry but if you dont believe me by now, you are actually sillier then Gretchen.
