Today my journey does begin But the pain might reign me in How can I live with who I am? A wolf among the Townie lambs.
I am a spy.
Can I deal with that? Is it actually true? I wonder... No... I'm not a Spy. I'm a citizen. 100%. I'm not sure why I can see the Spy's forums... That must be a mistake. Sam, is that a mistake?!? No, never mind... I'll pretend it's not there... Nobody has to know.
I am a citizen.
I can live with that.

Lololol being emo is going to be so much fun... People don't seem to know how to deal with it! Here's my first conversation and how it went...:
spies6jason (1:15:05 PM): Hi Robert... spies6Robert (1:17:17 PM): Hi
So far things are normal...
spies6jason (1:17:50 PM): There aren't many people online. I wonder if they're ok...
NEGATIVE emotions project!!
spies6jason (1:17:57 PM): How are you? spies6Robert (1:18:59 PM): I'm okay. You? spies6Robert (1:19:10 PM): And there were a few on half an hour ago... then they all.. dissapeared...
Ahh... He's falling for my trap of negative emotion...
spies6jason (1:19:38 PM): I'm ok, if I ignore the pain... I guess people will be more active after the roles are given out spies6Robert (1:19:54 PM): Yeah. And pain?
I've got such a hard life...
spies6jason (1:20:12 PM): Yes... don't all of our souls contain unbearable pain sometimes?
"Spies6Robert is typing..." Pause. "Spies6Robert is typing..." Pause.
spies6Robert (1:21:47 PM): No. Some of us live in a happy, fluffy, unicorn and carebear world of our own.
He was at a loss of words!! Priceless ;D Seeing the typing thing followed by a blank period made me laugh. A lot. I'm not sure why, but I really enjoyed it ;D

So... I'm not a spy, I'm a citizen that knows who the spies are and is at peace with citizens being imprisoned and exiled... But I feel like I should give some initial reactions of the dirty spies anyway, just to see how my opinion changes throughout the game...
Alma - Seems like Subhi; on crack and craaaaazzzzyyyyyy. If it is then I ought to be entertained ; D
Pete - Seems to be romantically obsessed with Iris... Holy hell, I have to share this quote now (Setting: Right after the Big Power challenge was announced):
spies6pete (9:46:20 PM): well, i cant win this one spies6jason (9:46:29 PM): *sigh* Me neither... spies6jason (9:46:38 PM): It'd be nice if we could have a spy win it though spies6pete (9:47:32 PM): yeah spies6pete (9:47:39 PM): especially iris
This is after he more or less falls all over himself for her in the Spy Forum... I mean WTF!?!?!? This might drive me to pulling out the old school bus if it lasts the entire game...
Iris - She's automatically at a disadvantage due to what I've described above, but she actually seems pretty cool.
Jaya - I haven't seen enough of her yet but she seems intelligent.
Donald - I'm guessing he's a Spies Veteran; he seems at home and in control. That's a definite plus.
Amelia - Haven't really seen enough of her yet, either :/
So... I'm thinking I'm going to kind of do my own thing and not work with the spies. After all, I'm not a Spy myself, I'm simply a Citizen who happens to know who the Spies are and converse with them about spy-like things from time to time... So I'll be sort of the lone spy, which makes sense, given my character (which I'm having so much fun with so far!)

So... Robert asked me who I suspect on my team....
spies6jason (6:11:36 PM): but if you want to know honestly Alma and Rey worry me. but whatever, I don't have much to go on yet... and I really don't want them to get mad at me and make me the first to leave spies6Robert (6:13:14 PM): im not sure with rey, but alma is evil spies6Robert (6:13:32 PM): her dissapearing from caht as i pressured her for that awful misrepresentation of yvette... her then sucking up to me... spies6Robert (6:13:44 PM): she's as evil as the devil's own lawyer. spies6jason (6:13:54 PM): Yeah... she's like all over the place... she screams spy spies6jason (6:14:28 PM): But I don't want to lead a charge on her and fail... and then have her exile or imprison me... if other people see whats going on maybe she can go though
Oh yes. I was right, Alma has stabbed herself in the heart... I'm not going to stick my neck out there; she's a liability until she calms down. Am I perhaps overstepping my bounds by being openly for getting rid of her?? Maybe... Could that come back to bite me later as bussing? Maybe... But I'm willing to take my chances.
The quandary I find myself with at the moment is... Do I post what Robert said in the Spy Boards or let Alma remain oblivious?? If I tell her exactly what he said she might want me to stand up for her... and will almost certainly want to see my response, and obviously that would be a baaaad idea.... I don't know which I shall decide on...

So... I'm hitting another problem; I like some of the citizens that I'm going to eventually brutally murder and betray...
It's such a different perspective, playing as a spy as opposed to playing as a citizen. I get to see the citizens' maneuvers and suspicions and know whether they're correct or not, and seeing citizens so early on nailing things makes me proud of them, in a very weird way.
So far I have immense respect for Tiberius, Rey, Robert, Yvette, and Paris as players, and I'm sure there are others, especially on the other teams, that are equally as impressive. My competitive nature wants to keep them all around and see if I can outwit them, but at the same time I know it'd be wise to get rid of them before they pass on to others what they've pieced together.
These people are smart, they're intuitive, they're funny, they're easy to get along with, but... they must all perish.
I feel like a Nazi guard at a concentration camp; getting to know my prisoners, whom I know will die at my hands, and realizing that they're every bit as awesome and deserving of freedom as I am, and yet feeling like there's nothing I can do besides consign them to oblivion.
So... what will I do? I'll win. That's all I can do.

Oh, and hey, Trey/Jason, you should post conversations before you forget.
Okay, I'll get right on that, Trey/Jason!

So... Trey, do you remember when I said this:
"Alma is going to self destruct before very long.
SET SAIL FOR FAIL!
AYE AYE CAPTAIN! "
Yes, Jason, I do indeed remember you telling me that! I find it weird because you're a citizen that somehow knows the identity of the spies, but... Please, continue!
Well, anyway, Trey, it turns out that Rey, Paris, Ellis, and Jenya are all voting for her now. And I myself am stuck in a position where I pretty much have to vote for her, too, which will almost certainly put the nail in her coffin...
So, Jason, you don't know what to do??
Not really, Trey... I'm torn between self-preservation and protecting my teammates... What can I do, Mighty Trey?
Ah, Jason my boy, you must persevere. Remember that this game, while it is a team game, ultimately relies on the strongest players to survive. If Alma has already dug herself SUCH a large hole in the FIRST round... Do you really think she'll be an asset or a hindrance?
Well, Trey... I don't know that she CAN be an asset with so many people wanting her gone and feeling sure that she's a spy...
So... Jason, if she's not an asset then she IS a hindrance. There's no in between when it comes to Spies. If you stick your neck out for her, it WILL be chopped off and you WILL go down with her. You're the chosen one, Jason, you have NEVER been Exiled, and your midichlorians are off the scale!
You're Right, Master Mofo... Alma must die. It is her destiny.
Indeed it is, my young apprentice. If the Sith are to once again rule the Burg we must follow the Rule of Two... Master and Apprentice. I, the Master Mofo, and you the Apprentice Jason.
Are you saying that my partners must fall, Master?
I am saying, my Apprentice, that you must succeed... The others are not your concern. The citizens must all die, that is your only objective. Destroy anyone who stands in your way, friend or foe. Show them no mercy.
I will give them no quarter, my Master Mofo. None shall survive.

Speaking of no survivors, I'd be perfectly happy bussing Iris to hell if I didn't think she was in a good position as a spy. The ONLY spy I've seen her acknowledge is Pete and it's getting annoying. "Here, I'll share this for PETE." "Well what does PETE think we should do?" etc. Pete seems like a cool dude, but one of them needs to be exile before I go crazy -_-

The Creation and Legacy of Jason: Learning to Spy By Not Spying Episode One
- DJ So many of my fellow spies are already in grave danger. My brethren are falling left and right, the ever growing chaos consumes without mercy the minds and bodies of those with whom I am aligned. How, then, can I be comfortable knowing that the more of my friends that fall the higher the chances of me being next? Because I do not lose. I have been well trained by my Master, the Mofotastic Trey. He and his overseeing council have trained me to become the best spy I can be... I can remember my training like it was yesterday... "The first lesson you must learn is how to be a pleasant, respectable, and decent human being."Those were Citizen Master DJ's first words to me. I didn't know that such a common idea could become someone's life, but to DJ being nice was everything. "You must not take place in petty squabbling. If people are whining and complaining about unimportant issues just let them go at it, but don't get dragged into it."How could I? After going through so many situations where I was egged into arguments I finally succeeded in refraining to get involved. "Tell yourself that your tongue tastes great, because you'll need to bite it often."DJ never got angry. He was patient and kind; the physical embodiment of the beatitudes. I often asked him how he held in his anger... And that's when I became truly amazed... "I don't, I just don't get angry."Don't get angry?? Everyone gets angry! "Nope, life is too short to worry about the little things. When a tense situation comes up I just ask myself, 'what good is being angry going to do?' and so far I haven't had a good reason, so why bother getting angry at all?"The concept made sense... But what did it have to do with being a good spy?? "Do you love your grandmother?"Well, of course! What sort of sick bastard wouldn't love his own grandmother?!? "Would you ever try to trick your grandmother? Would you ever suspect that she's lying to you over something?"Well, no... How could I be mean to my grandmother?? She's a sweet lady and she deserves to be respected! And no, she'd never lie to me, she loves me. "Exactly. You wouldn't want to deceive her, and you don't believe she'd deceive you." Oh. Ohhh.... I see what you mean! I think I understand now, Master DJ. What you're saying is that by being nice and decent as a person people will have a harder time lying and tricking me because they'll genuinely like me and will thus be struck by their conscience when they're dishonest with me. That means I have a better chance at gaining true or valid information as a Spy... And at the same time... If I'm well-liked and am a truly nice person people will sub-consciously believe that I'm less likely to lie to them, making it easier to deceive without being caught, which is absolutely vital to a Spy!! "Yes. I think you're ready to move on, Padawan Jason. You'll make a good spy someday..."My Spying prowess is only barely beginning to be put to the test, but thanks to DJ's instruction in the vital role being nice and liked has in Spying I feel confident in my ability to be trusted and my invulnerability from lies. Edit: Oops I forgot a pronoun in the first sentence and that really bugged me -_- I shan't read the rest in case I get bugged even further.

EPISODE WRAP UP; The Master Mofo interviews Jason
Master Mofo - Hello, Spies6, I am the Amazing Mofo Trey, Leader of the Free World - and by free I mean brainwashed by Mountain Dew - here today with my star Apprentice, Jason! He's just survived his first round as a Spy and we're going to get a few of his thoughts on how the episode went down! How are you, Jason?
Jason - I'm doing ok... when I don't think about the sorrow of losing a close teammate.
MM - You know, Jason, you don't have to be so negative all the time...
Jason - I know... I guess I'm doing OK then...
MM - Good! Well, as you know, tonight Almathea and Callahan were eliminated tonight, and Roxy was voted out but saved. Lets start with the successful Citizen lynching of Callahan, how do you feel about that?
Jason - Well, Super Sexy and Really Awesome Trey, I think it's the second best thing to happen to the Spies this Episode. Callahan seemed like a smart player and he could have been trouble down the line, but what's better is the suspicious nature in which Yvette and Robert acted while getting rid of Callahan. While neither Yvette nor Robert is in immediate danger I believe that both of them are on the path of destruction; with a few lucky breaks I'm sure a misexile could be brought upon either of them in the near future.
MM - Okay, well, you said that was the second best thing to happen to the Spies... what was the best thing to happen to them? We're excluding the fact that I am training you because obviously anything to do with someone as cool as I am would be a given as the best thing ever.
Jason - You're certainly correct about that... Umm... Anyways, the best thing to happen to the Spies is Alma getting exiled, and by "the Spies" I mean "Jason", as in myself. I was an advocate of Alma from the very beginning; before it was chic or trendy to vote for her; in fact, I encouraged Ellis to stick with his plan, encouraged Rey to get back on his plan, and convinced Tiberius to get in on the plan. Why would I work so hard to get a Spy exiled? Because I'm a citizen! Or at least that's how things look...
MM - So, is it safe to say that you feel you're in a good position at the moment?
Jason - Yes, definitely. As I look around my fellow Spies... Alma gets nailed in the first exile, Jaya was a heavy suspect throughout the entire round and is still on the radars of a few people, Pete is floating around in several people's suspicions, Iris has crept up on the suspicion lists of several people on her team, Donald almost got exiled with Alma, and Amelia is being labeled a lurker. Basically all of my teammates are in some sort of danger at the moment and I could honestly see any of them being exiled next round... I'm the only one of us that isn't on a list, and I'm really hoping that tonight's exile hasn't changed that (I can't imagine how it could). I'm THE safest Spy right now.
MM - Well, that sounds great, but of course a good spy would have contingency plans. Do you have such plans?
Jason - I do, actually. There's always my role. My role is what I'm going to call a gender neutral role... Yvette would be proud! It's a role that could work for a Spy or a Citizen very easily and if I get into dire trouble I won't hesitate to reveal it to Tiberius, Rey, or Ellis. Those are the three people I feel I could have fight the best fight for me as of right now.
MM - I can see how this role could benefit you. How would you feel about revealing it now?
Jason - Well, the problem is a citizen wouldn't trust anyone yet at this point in the game. Tiberius and Rey seem to trust each other, which as a citizen I think is risky, so I could probably reveal to one of them and be OK, but I don't want to do it yet. But I DO plan on revealing it soon, actually.
MM - O RLY? And why is that? Wouldn't that be dangerous?
Jason - Sometimes playing with fire is the only way to get a nice cooked meal. My reasoning is simple: By revealing it to ONE person early and ensuring that he sticks around to defend me if things go bad, I've proven myself to not be panicking and making up a desperation role claim. If I have to role claim to save myself and Tiberius pops up and says "Yeah, we've been talking about this for five episodes" the disputes of it being a fake role will be silenced.
MM - And how will you deal with the assertion that it's a spy role?
Jason - I can't. That's where I have to just hope they believe me. At any rate, if I play my cards carefully I can confirm myself as a Citizen and cruise to the end of the game. One thing I'll definitely amend in my role description is whether or not I can target myself. I'll say I can't involve myself in the role decisions so that they'll be less likely to guess that I use it to appear as a Citizen when I'm investigated. Actually, I'd better ask Sam a question about that role, be right back...
MM - Good idea, I'll wait while you do that...
Jason - Okay, done! Anyway, yeah...
MM - Any thoughts on Ariel saving Roxy?
Jason - If Roxy is still highly suspected then Ariel needs to be imprisoned because she'll be more or less a confirmed citizen when Roxy turns out to be a citizen.
MM - I don't know... You could make the case that Ariel as a Citizen shouldn't feel so sure, right?
Jason - Are you testing me, Master Mofo?
MM - Yes, and you passed, young one. Yeah, Ariel should be imprisoned sometime soon, when it's most convenient.
Jason - It shall be done... Well, anyways, I should get back to the Burg; we've got Citizens to kill, you know.
MM - Indeed. We shall talk again at the end of the next Episode, hopefully to hear tales of great victory!!
