So, where to start?
Coming into Episode 2 from the imprisonment, I wasn't terribly surprised. Robert was a good NK choice, and there hadn't been any noticeable role-tells by players. I didn't really have a strong bet against anyone being a spy for sure, but I figured as time went on, things would become clearer.
The first thing I noticed were the cases against Paris and Levi. While Paris' case was, from the front, more convincing, I'm not convinced that Levi's could be dismissed as much as it has. I'll be watching (stalking?) him tonight to see what happens to him.
As the day wore on, things really got interesting with the reveal of the Episode 1 Illuminati; as a general rule I make it a point to be suspect of under-the-table dealings. This really helped lead me towards Iris, but the whole concept of such an under-the-table dealing is poor work at best, and dangerous for the citizens at best. And with Yvette being such a strong player for it, it definitely doesn't reflect well on her. While most of her actions have been extremely helpful, her gameplay can be very divisive to the players, which certainly doesn't help things.
As far as suspects go, I'm leaning heavily towards Iris still. I'm not sure who else to run after, but I think she's got a good chance of being a spy from our team. Thankfully though, we've got a good buffer before the game becomes even again...we're down to what, 27 players, with 5 spies? 20-21 is even, so we've got a little bit of a lead, which is nice.
As far as people I'm growing to like, I'm a fan of Rey and Mei Yun. Way back when I was considering withdrawing, Mei Yun was nice enough to encourage me to at least fulfill my citizen duties and try to stick around. Rey's just a funny guy, so it makes interacting with him that much better. Other than that, I think I have the unfortunate problem of giving the off-putting side of my personality, so people probably aren't the biggest of fans of me. Regardless, I'm enjoying the game now and look forward to this Future Week challenge!
Sorry this isn't very long. I tend to be direct with what I'm trying to say, and 90% of what goes on in my head gets verbalized either in the Burg or over AIM, so...heh.
PS, Sam. You would have made my evening if you had managed to mention quantum uncertainty or Schrodinger's Cat in your little spiel about "the future."
