Who: Auto, Inc. and the Pinkertons VS. The Burg Union
When: 1940's
Where: The Burg, a small, but booming industrial town home to the nation's best auto factories
What: a conflict between laborers and management over working conditions
Why: greed for money. What else?
Our story begins in the Burg, a city at the center of the upcoming American transformation. Years earlier the automobile had been invented, changing the way people moved around their world. It was just now making its way through mass production and into the newfangled 'garages' of normal families.
The Burg had been a small city, a city of interconnected families where mostly everyone knew everyone's name. As stories typically begin, life had been peaceful and non-eventful. But with the construction of a new auto factory, an influx of new people, ideas, and attitudes forced themselves into the standard way of life.
These new attitudes came in the form of thirty-two temp workers who found new jobs at the Burg Factory where they would be spending most of their days. But it wasn't just hard-working employees that moved in. Along with them came a private police force known as the Pinkertons, a no-holds-barred group that you called when you wanted to get the job done. Armed to the teeth with weaponry, military skills, police experience, and psychological manipulation, they acted as the strong arm for any business with the money to hire them.
But that's a far bit into the future. We start in a time before anyone had heard of the Pinkertons, before anyone knew what a union was, and before anyone knew what terrible damage the tornado of greed could do to their fair town.
We begin with Peabody's last breath.

And so the story of Spies 6 begins! The story will be told through a few mediums in a few different ways, because no one wants to read a novel haha. Here's what you'll see:
- Small stories like this posted in the Public Grounds. Comment on them if you like I like to hear what you think.
- The Imprisonment stories.
- Short stories of real life historical labor events posted here.
I'm also going to try and tell the story a bunch of different ways. Sometimes I may write out scenes, other times I might just tell you what happens straight-forward. I have the help of a friend to make a video or two, and will incorporate images. You may see them play out during game events or through game roles. There may be some other ways we'll see what comes up.
