Please post all your votes in this thread by the deadline. You know how it goes. All Spies must offer their own opinions, ideas, options, and votes. No one will be bullied or left out in this democracy. It is recommended that you list a variety of options. Cast a vote in this thread by just saying VOTE: or something similar. I will then count up the votes posted in this thread. If you list alternate options, your second and third choices can come into account if a majority is not reached. When you are ready to make your final vote, post it here. You can change your vote at any time. I will then count the votes, the person with the most votes will be Imprisoned. If you are the only one voting for someone and it's close to the deadline, post one other vote you would support if no one else votes for your first choice. Tell me your thoughts, reasoning, elimination process, or post chats you've had with Spies for this and for all Imprisonments. I like to know how you came to these decisions. ![:)](http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif)

Well, Jenya and I are probably going to be Protected this round most likely, at least according to her anyway... We'll see how that turns out. If not, I think it's time for Jenya to go... she knows a lot and we could easily point the finger at several people and get rid of them, too. We eliminate a role and a Nexus of information which would cripple the Citizens' voting block (it's about time we start breaking that block up anyway... soon they'll have enough members to really hurt us).
Another good option is Kirsten... She's fairly suspicious in the Burg, but... she's been doing fairly good spy hunting and I doubt she's going to get Exiled, and I know Pete would like to see her go. She could turn out to be a problem as the game progresses, despite her being suspected by some of the Burg.
Another good option, is this is me being totally selfish, is Oswald. There's a chance he might idle out or drop out of the game due to his RL health issues, and while that's completely understandable, if he does that William will get a Citizen role investigation and might use it on me and then I'd be caught as a complete and total Spy with no way around it.
And yet another good option would be Ellis. He's been good at Spy Hunting, is trusted by a great deal of people, and might get on our trails soon. Taking him out also would be less obvious than some of the other choices and might be harder to trace.
So those are some of my initial thoughts!

I have to believe that the longer we leave Kirsten alive, the more suspicious she's going to get.
I agree about Jenya, but she would be a dangerous person to take out. It might backfire and she might be protected anyway.
Ellis would be an decent choice too, but he's not as vocal as some others. I'd almost like to take out Gretchen just to see what everyone says.

Also, if William reveals he has a Role to avoid Exile, we should Imprison him.

Personally, I feel that one of the citizen team NEEDS to go. As in really NEEDS to. We are letting them multiple and, yes although they are now starting to fling mud at each other, with a little bit of time, they will patch up and we will have to deal with like a eight strong alliance. Ouch. I also know that Kirsten has really been doing a few off things recently, and so, as much as Id like to see her go, I think Ellis may be our best bet too. I certainly however would like to see one of those two go.

I'm leaning towards Ellis as a best bet right now...

I would vote for Ellis, Kirsten or Oswald for reasons already stated. My top choice would be Oswald as I think for us to win Jason and/or Pete is going to have to get to end game.

Wait, why aren't we offing William with his investigations? He needs to go, stat.
And with the way that Khaled was asking folks not to vote for Will it won't be too suspicious that the Spies may have suspected him. Also, it might implicate Tibs and Khaled.
Vote William

If we off William ASAP I think it'll make me look really bad because only me, Khaled, Tiberius, and Jenya know about his role right now. If we Imprison him the very round after I find out about it I might have to defend myself about it later in the game... I agree that he needs to go ASAP but his next question is "Is ____ a citizen without a role?" So if he investigates any of us we can just have a role and his investigation won't be able to dispute that.

I agree with Jason, getting rid of William this round is so dangerous. Personally I dont see how getting rid of Oswald this round will benefit us at all. We have to put the finishing blow to the citizen break-up that is happening as we speak. Seriously guys, I think this could be a critical blow to them.
Vote: Ellis

Gretchen and Oswald are Immune from Imprisonment #6. You can't vote for them. ![](http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g221/SorintheSeeker/gretchen108copy.gif) ![](http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g221/SorintheSeeker/oswald108copy.gif)

So if he investigates any of us we can just have a role and his investigation won't be able to dispute that. I heart you Jason, but you're being too sensitive. If we had Imprisoned William it would have implicated you last. You've got a good thing going and I think you should have used it. Also, Khaled was really vocal to several people about "what would it take to get you not to vote William" it wouldn't have implicated you and if you don't at some point use your Citizen clout for anything, people will suspect you in the later stages of the game. I fully realize I'll be gone by then, but I want the Spies to win, so, Jason, you have to take a stand at some point. I think we made a mistake by not getting rid of William.

There's always this next episode for William; Ellis is a huge player in the Confirmed citizen group, they already have a 5+ voting block which is more than we have Spies. If we don't break it up soon we're going to run out of time and they'll outnumber us to the point where they just pick us off one by one. Getting William out would be great, yes, and I agree completely that we need to get him out, but he's not part of that 'confirmed' group yet so we've got time to get rid of him before he gets dangerous. If we could've gotten him voted out at the Exile that would have been MUCH more beneficial than Imprisoning him.

Well, I have to say that I definitely see your point about the voting bloc. Who else is in it?
Also, any tips for my defense? I'm gonna play it cool and assume that something else will happen soon to distract the magpies.

Jenya, Tiberius, Ariel, Khaled, Rey, and perhaps Kirsten and Thor, too, although they're still semi-outsiders... Either way it's way too big :/

How did Khaled get involved in the group?

Post by Jason on Jun 17, 2009 21:01:44 GMT -5
He's got a role and I did a 'good cit' thing by linking him up with the group... He just doesn't know WHO all he's actually linked up with, I relay stuff back and forth and omit/change as needed

That group needs to be brought down, like. Now. No, not now, like two rounds ago. Sam, any chance of a 'past week' ? ![:(](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/locolicious/no.gif) Jason, is William still a big threat to your cover? Now that oswald has gone do you think it is necessary to remove him asap? Sorry to be so pushy but Jenya should ideally go this round.

Post by Jason on Jun 18, 2009 11:12:50 GMT -5
Haha a Past Week would be awesome! Nah, William's next Investigation question is "Is ____ A citizen without a role?" which means given my role claim I should be expected to come up as no to that anyway. He could be a threat to you and Amelia but... The chances of him choosing one of you over someone else is slim, especially if Jenya wants to influence his choice.
I think I agree that Jenya should go this round; we'll see how things turn out. This will be the round where she has an Exile Immunity not Imprisonment so it's definitely now or never (Or perhaps Now or in two episodes*).
If we can get rid of Jenya I think we can help Ariel with her case on Rey and maybe get him Exiled and then take Kirsten or William out in the next Imprisonment.
