I could see arguments for the last 3 spies being Amelia + AReyal.

That should be the name of their child.
Let us play some.... SIMON SAYS!
Simon says put your hand on your head. Simon says put your foot in the air. Simon says stick out your tongue. Simon says sit on the ground Stand up if you are a spy.
Ahahaha. GOT YOU!

Boris. I will not go over this. Another. 10. Times. I'm not asking for the old argument, I'm asking for an updated one that includes what you think of my actions, and how they look scummy. And I think it's important to make the distinction there too, because what I've seen you do recently is just say that I am doing things because I am scum, and that is why I am scum. I want to see how my recent actions make me scummy, from your perspective.

I don't think you have been doing anything scummy for this past round. Maybe it's because you know someone is on to you? Or maybe you realized that you looked like a shitbag. Either way, you can't just ignore the past becuase someone doesn't look scummy any more. It seems like a Spy would want to look better if they were being suspected, does it not?

Or a citizen might realize they should stop being a shitbag because that would put them in danger of being exiled, and would not be in the best interest of the citizens, as it would waste an exile.

I'm about as trustworthy as it gets right now, from catching Donald to trying to rally an exile on Iris that resulted in her fake claim that got her easily lynched this time around. My voting history is 2 spies, 2 unknowns (or 3/3 if you want to count doubling up), which has to be one of the best in the game right now, if that is something that appeals to you more. I don't doubt your reliability from a personal standpoint, but I do from a logical one. If you're the only one with this information, another player can easily say that you mis-represented their vote or something, leading into a big distraction-fest as you and Other Player make spy accusations. You may have just made a typo, even, and thus, a whole host of problems ensue. The airtight method for this would be to pick four people (probably those who posted their votes publicly) and have them receive the rest of the information. Secrets secrets are no fun, secrets secrets hurt EVERYONE. But seriously, good for you. You should still do it right. Either way we need to wait, so =\.

These are fairly unrealistic situations. Nobody is going to directly counterclaim my assertion of where they voted, because that pits them in a 1/1 claim/counterclaim situation with me over trivial information they could have simply lied about if they really wanted to try to screw this up. The argument that I could typo or misread is pretty weak. Any of the 4 players you suggest to be chosen could easily do the same. Secrets secrets are no fun, secrets secrets hurt EVERYONE. But seriously, good for you. You should still do it right. This isn't a pat myself on the back party for knowing secrets. Although, we can do that if people really want. Parties are fun! So, Khaled, maybe I'm not understanding you here, but you seem to be arguing that this should be done privately and/or simultaneously. I agree with that, and I assume your reasons are so that people can't claim who they voted based on the previous claims. However, you then suggest 5 players know about it? That hardly seems the private system you wish this to be. In fact, with 5 players in the know, there's a good chance a spy is in the know and can relay this information back, effectively thwarting the entire point of doing it privately in the first place.

Kirsten, as you said, the key is in your information, not in the votes themselves. Everything else is just safeguarding. You're right, though, in that a claim/counterclaim situation like yours would be stupid--it was something like that which had my original concern. So yes, two players would be optimal in this case.

O, and godamnit guys I'll TRY to catch up on this thread but currently I'm experiencing that thing they call a "life" Short Version: 10 of us pretty swiftly voted Iris based on her hilariously bogus role. Also there was some Amelia pressure as she claimed to have received a gift from Iris due to her bogus role. Then Iris was lynched. Then we waited for the result. Now we know she's a spy. Dear god this is my first vote to A) go towards an exile and B) be on a spy at the same time! It's like I'm losing my virginity! I always was a late bloomer.

I'd be fine with having 1 more player involved. Here's a thought: We have everyone privately PM me their votes as to who the 2nd player should be, and then I will tally it up privately, and privately assign the 2nd player to help me. To keep from this being spy dominated, they can only have 2 place the same vote! Also, I really like that song. I've listened to it like 6 times in a row now . Dear god this is my first vote to A) go towards an exile and B) be on a spy at the same time! It's like I'm losing my virginity! I always was a late bloomer. Haha! Congratulations William. I'm glad to see Iris was a Spy, though it was fairly obvious after she lied about her role -_-
And Kirsten I think it's a bad idea to publicly post who voted for who for the role investigation or who it was used on. Not only might you get a Citizen Imprisoned for using the Investigation, there's the off chance that you might get a role holding Citizen Imprisoned too. It's not hard for a Spy to count the votes up in this thread and realize who must have gotten it; it's not like it's math that only Khaled would understand.
Plus... several people who voted for that role investigation have been eliminated in Exiles and Imprisonments and the current three Spies might lie about who they voted for so really you can't trust the accuracy of everyone posting their vote anyway because it might be something completely different in reality.
With all that being said it sounds like opening a hornet's nest and I don't think any of us want to get stung. All it's going to do is lead to needless suffering, fighting, and chaos and that's exactly what the Spies need... Why give it to them?

I disagree. People are making this role investigation out to be the divine gift of spies6, and if it were revealed, people would immediately wither off and die. It's a role investigation. There's a reason role cops are almost always scum roles in mafia, because a role cop is weak for the town but strong in the hands of the scum. If someone gets imprisoned specifically because they won a role investigation in episode 3, then I will eat my left foot.
And I don't even care about who the winner of our role investigation extravaganza even targeted or their result. I only care about determining who voted for who to compare with the information I currently have in hopes of catching scum.
People don't have to agree with me. I'm just interested in whether or not they would be willing to tell me privately who they voted for.
Jason, would you be willing to shoot me off a PM or let me know on AIM who you voted for this weekend?
Also, I don't even need to reveal specifically who voted for who.
Basically, if the scum won the role investigation, then I don't see why it matters that I'm hunting out this information. We don't lose anything by me trying to discover if/how the scum won the investigation, and I think my information will help figure this out. If the citizens won it, then I would like to attempt to verify it based on the voting history and put my information to rest.
The only way this is a downside is both if I'm a spy, and if a citizen won it. In that case, I would be able to find a citizen who won the role investigation, and I would be free to imprison them based on informatoin they learned back in episode 3 that apparently has still not become relevant in episode 7. Hooray for me for jumping through hoops to learn relatively minor information.

I'll be glad to let you know, but like I said, there are two big problems with this idea just from a practical standpoint... 1. Spies can lie about who they voted for. 2. A lot of people have been eliminated since the vote... Haven't 6 people gone since then? That's enough to tip a close vote or a not so close vote.

"To keep from this being spy dominated, they can only have 2 place the same vote!" It may just be the hour.. but huh? Sorry, I was joking. Khaled wanted there to be a 2nd person in on this for safeguarding and I was making the joke of how we should determine who that 2nd person is through exactly the same means we determined who got the investigation in the first place. That would add a 2nd layer of intrigue, and confusion for absolutely no reason. Anyway, yeah, I was just joking about that. The 2 spies can vote together was a play on how only 3 spies could vote together for the investigation in the first place, considering the private nature and potential for easy spy domination. 1. Yeah. I expect some lying. I expect that my answers will not bear complete accuracy. 2. Yep, 6 dead. Two of them are spies, and would likely have lied anyway (I'm more interested in how "likely citizens" have voted), and somewhere between 1-3 more of the remaining 6 I already know through my advanced interrogation tactics (read: torture). My results are not going to be crisp and accurate to the 8th decimal place. If all goes as expected, I believe my results will help catch a spy, but I also expect that people will reject the evidence as not strong enough. I guess we will just have to find out.

Oh I know, but she still claimed that Donald had the ability to read someone's confessional before you called her on it. The first two claims were at least believable (Imprisonment immunity and Roleblock). The third one wasn't.
